Spent 4 days in DC with 2 - 13 year old grandkids and stayed at this property. Location is excellent, close to Dupont Circle metro--and Firehook bakery is on the way! Only issue was how small the bedroom with bunks was. Kids ended up sleeping on the futons in the living room--which they actually liked more than they would have the bunks. Property was clean and well maintained although we did have noisy neighbors a time or two. I would definitely stay here again if/when I return to DC!
Great location, very clean. Lots of clean towels.
No dishwasher, which might be an issue for some.
We had significant construction noise from a remodel upstairs, which likely is no longer an issue.
The apartment was neat, clean and in a great location. There is a grocery store less than 50m away. Connecticut Ave is 50m away with dozens of restaurant choices. Dupont Circle Metro is 3-4 minutes walk from the front door. Overall, we were very comfortable there, the neighbourhood was clean and felt safe.
A couple drawbacks. The apartment is on a semi-basement level and looks out onto an alleyway/parking area containing rubbish bins. The apartment had bars on the doors and windows facing that area so security was not an issue, but it isn't a good outlook. The hot water system is small and so started to run out of hot water after two showers.
Great location on quiet street, yet walk to restaurants, cafes, clubs, and the White House!
Easy walk to Metro Red Line and great bus service.
