Comfortable stay with street parking. This tiny house was simple and modern. Great for a 1-2 person stay. Close to near by restaurants and convenient stores. This tiny house is in a gated apartment complex that you share with the tenants but located in their parking lot.
This had everything we needed. We were very pleased with this little house. The a/c kept the place cool and comfortable. I was thinking before we arrived I wonder how the bed will be and it was fine. Because my son lived 2 miles from this house we left our rental car there, so that worked out well for us since there is no onsite parking. Would I stay there again???? Yes, I would as long as my son does not move.
The tiny house itself is very nice. The unit is actually quite large and livable. My stay was for a week. I'm very glad this was an option as others in this price range are only shared space or room rental vs. this being a whole house. I appreciated the TV, wifi and comfortable bed, as I was only there to sleep. The kitchen was stocked with enough necessities to cook. Plenty of hangers and space to hang a weeks worth of clothes. I did not use the sofa as a sleeper. The unit was clean. The ant problem, previously mentioned, was not an issue. My security deposit was refunded within a week. The manager was extremely prompt to respond and very helpful with an answer to my question about the lock code.
I chose this due to location, price and proximity, wanting something within 10-15 minutes of my daughter. I think it is in East Hollywood, on the border of Silver Lake which is just the next town East. The home is parked in a gated condo/apartment parking lot and next to residential homes. Although pictures of the tiny home show parking, parking is for the condo/apartment tenants only. Street parking was limited and I never walk alone at night. Although I had access to use of a car, I chose not to due to the parking and had my daughter pick me up or just Uber.
Laundry facilities are available in the condo/apartment unit, however I used my daughter's washer and dryer.

This property is just fine for those who plan to spend majority of their time site seeing and exploring LA. The property has just enough room for 2 people. I do have a few suggestions for the owner. The "pull out couch" should come with instructions. It seems to be more like you just put the cushions on the ground and that is the "pull out couch." Also, I would suggest a renters book to supply to the renters. I didn't know where to park, where to eat, what to do with the trash, what to do with my wet towels at the end, etc. In fact, we received a tow warning on our car on the last night because we must have parked in the wrong spot, but we didn't know where exactly our parking spot was. Third, we did manage to have an ant problem while we were there. Granted, the property manager did respond to my email by the next day and supplied many traps/spray. The ant spray worked in the kitchen, but the ants seemed to then migrate to the bathroom. Lastly, the property manager promptly responded to my first email, but never responded to my follow up email containing multiple questions. If you are expecting hotel accommodations in this tiny home, rent a hotel. However, if you were like us and plan to spend majority of your time out and about, this will serve your needs sufficiently.
We had reserved this property for a weekend stay in that area. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay due to a death in family. I wanted to send this review because the Owners were very understanding, and accommodating. And I wanted to let everyone know that they are great to work with and very nice. We would definitely recommend them to anyone. Once again thank you for being so understanding with our Situation.
The Cozy Casita is a great place to stay. It is well-equipped with everything you need and the location is fantastic. It is walking distance from several grocery stores and convenience stores, as well as lively areas of Los Feliz and Silver Lake with a lot of restaurants and bars. It is also a short walk to two stops on the Metro Red Line, which runs through Downtown, Koreatown, Hollywood, Universal City and North Hollywood. You can easily access all of the major attractions.
The only drawback I found was that it didn’t come with the advertised parking space. Street parking in the area is not impossible, but can be tricky sometimes. When I rented a car and parked there for the night, I found a notice to tow the next morning. The problem was resolved quickly, however, with a call to the manager.
I would definitely stay here again, but I would make sure to check about the parking situation beforehand if planning to take a car.
Many of my guests love how the unit is a very convenient walk to shops, restaurants and public transportation.
Walking distance from Los Feliz's hip restaurants, cafes, clubs, organic market, Metro, Bus, and Griffith Park, best Hospitals: including Children's, Kaiser, Hollywood Presbyterian.
Easy access to 101 Freeway, Hollywood studios, walk of fame, tourist attractions, Los Feliz, Hospitals, LACC, downtown lofts, Staples Center, LA Live, W Hotel, Silverlake, Burbank, Glendale, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm.j
Public transportation is all around you. Never more than a block away!
