The apartment is decent & clean, but located on a very busy street. The outer walls of the bedrooms are only 20 feet from the curb. We found it challenging to get a good night's sleep due to constant traffic noise & periodic sirens from passing emergency vehicles. We would not stay here again despite the reasonable price. My wife & kids were not pleased with being woken up repeatedly throughout the night, for 3 nights in a row.
We were also surprised to find that there was no bath soap or shampoo provided, although there was dish soap in the kitchen.
Place was ok, would not stay here again. It was clean and location was close to places but you definitely are in a "poor" neighborhood. The location was next to a busy street and it was pretty loud when trying to go to sleep; had to wear ear plugs to try and cancel out noises from outside. Place is a bit old, wood floor was rising up, bathroom shower ceiling looked questionable (it looked like water is or was leaking from upstairs and it needed to get repaired with new sheetrock/paint), bathroom also smelled. Also, AC was loud, had loud knocking sounds, TV remote didn't work. The queen size bed needs a new mattress (felt old)/sheets was so thin you could feel little bumps from bed, comforter had a stain (not sure if it was washed). You have to leave the AC on all day so when you got home, the place didn't smell like pee.
If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep and could care less about esthetics and noise, I would recommend this place. The one good thing is that you had your own parking space in a gated lot.
The stay was great! Could have better water pressure but other than that it was very good.
The location is great (near Hollywood), had a 24-hour VONS in walking distance and the property manager, Marcy was very nice. The WiFi worked our whole stay. The kitchen was well-equipped to fit our cooking needs. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in this apartment and would recommend it to families and groups travelling.
Many of my guests love how the unit is a very convenient walk to shops, restaurants and public transportation.
Walking distance from Los Feliz's hip restaurants, cafes, clubs, organic market, Metro, Bus, and Griffith Park, best Hospitals: including Children's, Kaiser, Hollywood Presbyterian.
Easy access to 101 Freeway, Hollywood studios, walk of fame, tourist attractions, Los Feliz, Hospitals, LACC, downtown lofts, Staples Center, LA Live, W Hotel, Silverlake, Burbank, Glendale, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm.
There are numerous taxis, but most people hop on one of the buses to get around. The metro is also another great option for longer trips.
Public transportation is all around you.
Never more than a block away!
