The Space
Beautifully renovated, and classy apartment in one of DC's best and most convenient neighborhoods, straddling Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan.
This unit is a furnished one bedroom, one bath apartment which comes with a Queen bed plus a futon sofa sleeper in the living room. It is great for family and friends, and can accommodate up to 4 guests.
Street parking is possible but a good walk is likely, we are also nearby many parking garages.
Includes Wi-Fi, Cable TV, fully furnished, fully equipped kitchen, and on-site laundry facility, linens, towels, sheets, etc. Great for short or long term stays.
This is a peaceful non-smoking building.
Fair housing laws enthusiastically followed.

no cork screw! no coffee, but good coffee maker. Great location.
This property is small, as described, but very nice and clean. The kitchen is a good size for this type of place and closet space is ample. I had an question regarding entry and the property manager was immediately available by phone...very responsive. The location was perfect for me as the 96 bus stop is less than 2 blocks away. The neighborhood seemed very safe and neighbors were friendly. Just one complaint, really is that since it is a basement apartment, there is a drain pipe for the building that runs through the closet in the bedroom. There is always a "babbling brook" sound, but when other tenants are showering, doing laundry or dishes, it becomes an all out waterfall. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing earplugs. Also note that there are several steps to get into the apartment and a large step up into the kitchen and bathroom. This was not a problem for me, but others may want to be aware. Overall a great experience and I would stay there again.
We stayed for a week in Oct. 2017. The host, Arlene, was very accommodating -- promptly providing us an extra key to the unit and replacement batteries for the clock and TV remote. We walked to and from the Dupont Circle Metro station every day, often stopping at Firehook Bakery on Q St. to pick up bagels for the day's adventures. A 7-11 convenience store is nearby, but we found better selection at the Rite Aid at Connecticut and Florida. A Capital Bikeshare dock is on Florida Ave. It was a short, hilly bike ride to the National Zoo's southern entrance.
Two concerns about the unit: sound and accessibility. In the bedroom there's often the sound of running water through the pipes from an upstairs unit. To reach the unit from street level you either descend steps or a steep ramp. Once inside, the level of the kitchen and bathroom are a step and a half above the rest of the unit. This wasn't an issue for us, but may be for some future visitors.
Overall, the unit served our needs well.
Great stay!
Very clean, modern. Great kitchen. Bathroom is small, but nice. Neighborhood is fantastic! Enjoyable to walk around and explore the many restaurants.
On the downside..it was difficult for my husband to maneuver. There are steps going down into the unit that are charming but not very safe for a person with a knee problem. On the inside of the unit there is one really big step up into the kitchen and also one really big step up into the bathroom. This is something that a person with any sort of handicap should be aware of.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. But, not for someone disabled...
This place was perfect for our trip. Perfect location, clean and comfortable. The property manager was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
The Neighborhood
Great location on a quiet street, yet walk to restaurants, cafes, clubs, and the White House! 1 block to the Hilton Hotel.
Getting Around
Easy walk to Metro Red Line and great bus service.
