Interaction with Guests
Our team is only a phone call away for any needs you may have during your stay.
Arrived at our address with all correspondence in hand, which included a full single spaced typed instructions on how to open the unit we rented. Not one word about the key code needed to open the door to the building, Not One! Called to see if any help could be found, left message with Walls Management with our number. Never got a call back, NEVER! So here we are at 11 PM standing in front of our building with no way to get in, we are cold, tired & now feel totally abandoned. The only thing that saved us was someone was up in one of the first floor units and they let us in and gave us the code to open the door. I thought maybe we were an isolated case of incompetency, but as we were going out two nights later we found two people suitcases in hand, waiting for someone to come out so they could get in as they too had not been given any instructions on how to open the door to the building they were renting a unit in. This alone was unforgivable.
Read your contract, especially the part that states: "you provide your own toiletries (soap and shampoo), paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, cleaning supplies and the like." This means you will find 2 rolls of TP, enough soap to do two small loads of wash and two runs of the dishwasher. This is the first rental unit I have rented (and I have rented a unit each year for 12 years) that does not supply the basics for your stay. I have rented vacation properties previously and the unreasonable requirements to buy quantities of supplies that exceeded short term need had never been requested at any other property. Normal expectations of what might be provided made these requirements both unexpected and unreasonable when renting a vacation property.
Also the only place I have rented that did not have a book of handy data on where to find the grocery store, local eateries or where to dump the trash. Only a single sheet on how to connect to the internet, which worked half of the time we were there.
On the positive side the place was immaculately cleaned.
Great location on quiet street, yet walk to restaurants, cafes, clubs, and the White House! 1 block to the Hilton Hotel.
Easy walk to Metro Red Line and great bus service.
