Charming garden cottage
I can't rave enough about how immaculate Bill & Oscar's garden is. The whole atmosphere is quaint and magical, and our hosts were more than welcoming & accommodating. Frida's Casita has everything you'd need for a visit to San Antonio!
The property itself is artistic, private and relaxing! The owners are full of helpfulness in getting one familiar with the area - don't miss the Japanese Garden just a mile away! A delightful stay!
Awesome location and great hosts!
The property is amazing and Oscar & Bill are great hosts!
Oscar sat with my wife & I when we arrived for at least 45 minutes and told us about places to visit. He also had brochures of all locations available and everything was very close. I can't say enough about Fridas Casita in Historical Monte Vista District in San Antonio, thank you again!!!
So happy that you choose Fridas Casita when you visited the River City & hope you will return soon.
Perfect Quick Get Away
Fell in love with the eclectic and artsy look of this place in the pictures when booking online, and it is even more charming in person! Oscar and Bill are gracious hosts, and had the best recommendations on places to eat and go visit. The charming guest house is comfortable and clean, and in a beautiful neighborhood. I loved looking through all the books about San Antonio, and my husband enjoyed the garden and art. We loved having our glass of wine and morning coffee (thank you for the fabulous blend Oscar) on the screened porch. I just wish our stay wasn't so short. If charming and artsy is your thing, you will fall in love with Frida's Casita!
Thanks a million for the wonderful review. We so enjoyed your visit. Come back soon.
Fun stay in San Antonio
We were very happy with our choice of Fridas Casita for our stay in San Antonio. Bill and Oscar are great hosts, not at all intrusive but readily available if you need anything. The Casita is very clean and comfortable, thoughtfully decorated to reflect the area’s unique culture. It is in a very quiet, safe neighborhood but anywhere in the city is easily accessible by bus or Uber. There were many highlights during our stay, including the Saturday Farmers Market at the Pearl, visits to the lovely Riverwalk, going to a Spurs playoff game, and lunch at the top of the Tower of the Americas. While visiting take advantage of the great food scene, BBQ and puffy tacos are not to be missed!
Thanks again to Bill and Oscar for your hospitality and helping make our trip a memorable one. Shall we return to San Antonio we will definitely choose Fridas Casita again as our home away from home.
Delightful guest who loved our city. Hope they return for another visit.
Niche Foodie's dream spot. Within minutes of San Antonio's best food and music spots.
And not to be missed, Saga de San Antonio at one of the City's Gems, San Fernando Catheral.
