The property is ideally located and can easily accommodate many guests. The scenery of Northern Maine is beautiful, and the friendliness of the people who live here will make you want to return year after year .
Summer on the lake is a great time for swimming, paddelboarding, water skiing, fishing, sailing, canoeing and wildlife viewing.
The fall is absolutely breathtaking.
The area is well-known for its winter activities of snowmobiling, ice fishing , snowshoeing and, of course, alpine and cross-country skiing.
We are located at the heart of snowmobiling trails ITS83, right off Route 161 North.
Beautiful home, beautiful view, great host. Perfect house for a large group, and a great location for snowmobiling. All the amenities and conveniences that a group with me for a weeklong stay.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The inside is comfortable and clean. Everything was nicely stocked and well thought out.
Already booked next year and recommended it to my family too. The owner is very thoughtful and communication throughout the stay was much appreciated. She even helped getting items sent home to me that I'd accidentally left behind!
We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The home is lovely and spacious, the lake is beautiful, the kitchen is well stocked, and the neighbors were all so kind and welcoming.
I don't know if we were more impressed with the home, or with the owners. The owner responded quickly to each of my questions about the house and about the area.
My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!!
We found this camp online and loved the pictures it showed; however when we showed up those pictures didn't do this place justice! This camp was so beautiful and well kept and very kid friendly! We also found that the rental management was very nice and if we needed anything they were on top of it; they were very responsive and very friendly. One night we had bad weather and the power went out; but that night was one of our best nights there--sitting with the windows open, listening to the rain and waves of the lake with candle light and playing cards, and hearing the laughter. My boys loved that their were bikes available, along with a canoe to fish. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay on the lake in a rural part of Maine. You are still surrounded by mountains to hike, and there are towns near by to take the kids to the movies, to the park, or out for dinner. Our family decided even before we left to head back home that we would go back up to Maine and stay at this wonderful camp!
