We are the second owners of this property. Home was built in 2008 and original owner was a family member. Our family is born and raised in Broken Arrow, OK. Grand lake has always been our second home. We were raised on this lake and plan to raise our 5 year old son on the water as well. We have several rental properties in Tulsa...we take very good care of our tenants and expect the same in return from our renters! If there's anything you need, PLEASE don't hesitate to ask! =)
Mandi Campbell, Campbell Properties Investment Group purchased this cabin in 2013
We originally purchased this property because of the location and condition of the home. Its a great price for the quality of house. Home has brand new carpet & tile, granite kitchen and upgraded faucets/fixtures. There isn't many properties on South Grand Lake that fits the standards this property has to offer for its price. Plus Dripping Springs cove is a convenient location on the lake, pretty much in the middle and close to most places we visit.
Best Features of this home: the views from the cliffs down to the water from our top floor balcony! The fire pit is always a great feature for families to sit around, roast marshmallows & tell memorable stories.
Dripping Springs cove is a 5 minute boat ride from Duck Creek, 10 min. boat ride from the Pensacola Dam, and 15 min. boat ride to Shangri-LA. You can't ask for a better centralized location.
My group of youngish adult-professionals all had a great time at this secluded cabin (the neighboring cabins were unoccupied during our stay). We had the run of the entire area to ourselves and enjoyed the secluded feeling that this cabin possesses. There is ample space for parking multiple cars and boat trailers, use of what seemed like an acre of land as your front and back yards, and we couldn't hear anyone but ourselves the entire trip. The sleeping quarters are all well appointed and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The view from the deck is awesome. The only issue that we had was that the golf-cart had unfortunately broke down right before our stay, so we walked and drove down to the dock/marina to hop on our boat. This was not a surprise to us, however, as the owners made us fully aware of the situation before-hand and were apologetic. Also, the free, overnight courtesy dock down at the marina was very handy and the owner was very helpful and accommodating to us throughout our stay. We would definitely stay at this cabin again and hopefully we can get everyone back together to make it happen.
My family ( a total of 12) people stayed at this location for the three day weekend. We had a blast, plenty of room, clean, and a wonderful view of the water below us. The weather was great and all had a wonderful time. We also rented a Pontoon boat and enjoyed tubing and fishing. The kids had a great time in Dripping Springs cove (right below the cabin) jumping on the cliffs and swimming. The golf cart came in handy going back and forth from the cabin and water. Most amenities are at the cabin, and comfort wasn't a problem......the views form the deck were awesome too.
We really enjoyed our girl's weekend at Dripping Springs #2! The cabin was clean and stocked with all the amenities we needed. (Next time we need to take advantage of the fire pit and golf cart!) We loved spending the evening exploring and relaxing in the hot tub, but our favorite part was the view we had on the upper deck while we drank our morning coffee and snacked on fruit. Glad we were able to get away for the weekend and spend time outdoors.
pros: -quiet location
Cons: -needs a little more upkeep. (The smoke detector had been taken off and not replaced and the outside had a broken light and doorbell)
- no TV - unless you play a DVD
- "lake view" is a tiny portion over the trees. The lake enterance was way down the hill. (Although this is not the fault of the owner)
- there is nothing to do in this town. It was kind of boring. There is a subway and a grocery store and a sonic and a convenient store and a few other things - But if you don't have a boat there is no point. (Also not the owners fault)
- sure there is a hot tub and a golf cart- but where would you ride off to? The scenery to get to these "yacht" cabins are a lot of tents and campers. (Again just a fact. I doubt the neighbors came with the cabins arrival :) )
Loved the cabin and location. Sits up on the hill for a great view of cove. Great location if you have a boat or just want to swim in the cove and cliff jump! Easy check in and check out of this cabin! Would definitely stay here again. Might try earlier in the summer so we can sit in the hot tub! It was just too hot this time. Clean, trendy decorated cabin with all of the amenities you would need! Having the golf cart was great to take to the boat each day!!!!!!
