Undoubtedly successful

Susan and Mark will be one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The house is very accommodating, perfect for 5 people. Jay Peak is about a 20min hike from the cabin. The owners stay on the property but not in the cabin and are Very respectful our your privacy. We didn't use the firepit but they have one. One of the perks is that there's a hiking trail that starts from their drive way and if your lucky one of their dogs Mo will join you! Warning: if you're going in the winter, their driveway is uphill so make sure your vehicle can handle a semi steep incline. Lastly i recommend bringing a Chromecast or speakers, there's no cable but they have Alot of older dvds!

Beautiful location & hospitable hosts!

  • 5 of 5

We came as a group of 5 friends for our annual New Year's trip and we could not be happier with the choice we made. It was in a great location right near Jay Peak for skiing but also was a quick hour drive in the snow to both Burlington and Waterbury where we saw some sights. Susan & Mark did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible - including trying to help us with our car trouble. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Peaceful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We had a great experience in this clean and cozy secluded cabin, Susan and Mark were very welcoming when we got there and gave us a quick tour and although they live on the property we still had a complete sense of privacy. I especially loved the trail leading to the overlook with the mountain views. Susan, Mark and Vermont super exceeded all our expectations cant wait to visit again.

Owner's Response: I am very glad you found what you were looking for in Vermont. You all were very gracious guests and I look forward to your return. The location of our cabin provides many opportunities along with the peace and quiet. Come back and do some hiking, snowshoeing, and of course skiing at Jay. Have a joyful Christmas season. Susan

Clean and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything needed for cooking and eating along with basic toiletries and linens. The hosts were extremely helpful with any questions we had, and at the same time respected our privacy. Pretty views and very cozy. We will be going back again.

Great little cabin in the woods.

  • 4 of 5

Very quiet and relaxing. The dogs had a great time as well with all the walking trails in the area. The only thing we wished it had was some sort of deck out front. Other than that it was a great experience! We definitely recommend it to anyone.

Owner's Response: It's a shame you were not satisfied with the structure of the cabin. This is why there are pictures posted on the site, so you can judge for yourself whether the lodging will meet your needs.

Great secluded cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

Our experience at this cabin was fantastic! My husband and I, along with his parents, stayed at the property for trail running festival occurring at Jay Peak. The cabin is located about a 15-20 min drive from Jay Peak, which was very easy to get to and provides a ton of activities. The property is secluded but that is exactly what you should expect from the area. The cabin is located on the owners property but they are very respectful of your space and it wasn't an issue at all for us. The owners were wonderful to deal with leading up to the stay and when we arrived greeted us with a delicious basket of muffins. Fantastic folks and a beautiful clean, updated cabin, we look forward to returning in the winter season!
