Hello and welcome to our colorful condo!

Our peaceful and inviting nautical condominium is perfect for an amazing bay and beach vacation. With a great location on the surreal Emerald Coast, a 700 foot Lazy River, you are sure to come back year after year. This unit is a ground floor unit/lanai where guests can sun or step outside the gate into the lazy river with a gorgeous bay side backdrop. The waterfall pool, gradual entry pool and two large hot tubs provide a variety of activities for water lovers. The patio/sunning decks in this water area provide both shade and sun for people of all ages. Large lounge chairs, tables & chairs, umbrellas are provided for your leisurely days spent by the lazy river. Grills w/ tables are provided in the green areas as well as a walkway for strolling by the bay and marina. Free beach service is provided when you go to the ocean. A splash park, toddler pool, hot tub, and Destin West's largest pool and exercise facility are the additional amenities found on the beach side. You can easily access the beach side by walking the sky bridge from bay to beach.

LOCATION:

Our condominium is centrally located between Destin and Fort Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island. We are five miles from Destin and one mile from Fort Walton Beach. You are in the middle of two of the best vacation cities in America. Not only do you have four miles of un-developed land on one side (free of mass crowds of people), but on the other side you have access to the Gulfarium, beachside restaurants and shops, fishing, water-sports, and more. Take your pick! Either side has the vacation you have been waiting for.

FEATURES:

Not only is our location perfect and our condominium's new, but the view is unforgettable. Imagine an oasis of palm trees with cool, turquoise water running like ribbon (the lazy river) around gorgeous tropical landscaping. Lounge on our large porch and overlook sailboats floating by on the inner coastal waterway while watching the kids float by on the lazy river.

BAYSIDE POOLS:

Close your eyes on our private patio and listen to the waterfall hit the water in the additional heated pool and you will think you are in a tropical paradise. Or enjoy the 5000 sq.foot pool, gym, and kiddy water playground at Destin West across the street. We also have internet access for those of you who need to connect for business. With so many features, how could you pass this up?

THE FAMILY HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE CONDO (INSIDE AND OUTSIDE ). WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED TO MAKE OUR STAY JUST GREAT.T-STORM LEE DIDN'T STOP US FROM HAVING A GOOD TIME. WE ARE LOOKING TO COMING BACK FOR A LONGER STAY.

Another Great Vacation at Pelican L-01

I can't say enough good things about this particular condo. It's closeness to the lazy river, the lanai overlooking the lazy river, and the vast entertainment choices within walking distance. We spent many enjoyable hours in the aforementioned lazy river, the pool, the spa areas, and just soaking up the sun on the lanai. The atmosphere of this community is very family oriented and my family found our condo well equipped to handle the needs of our creature comforts-even had Wi-Fi for those that require electronic non-sun related therapy....what more can a modern family ask for....at least I got them out on the lanai---in the "Sun"...while not in the lazy river. Thanks again to the Bill Tumlin family and staff for such a great vacation in a clean, spacious, and home away from home feeling that ya'll(yes---ya'll) created!!

Beautiful Condo

Always have a great time at Destin West. Loved staying in the Bay side, enjoyed the afternoons in the lazy river, hot tub and grilling. This condo is beautiful and very well kept by its owners. Will recommend this condo to all my beach 🏖? lovers.

Disappointed with the cleanliness of the condo.

Master bathroom contained mold/mildew on the tiles leading into the tub and around the tub. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the bedding had a rough texture and was outdated. During our stay the atmosphere was very busy and loud.

Owner's Response: I am sorry the condo was not up to the expectations of our guests. In noticing other reviews, among other things, the cleanliness of this condo is one item that is mentioned often. We have new furnishings in the living area and strive to keep the condo updated in decor. While the tenants stated the "atmosphere was busy and loud", spring break season brings many children and families in and creates much busyness and more noise as families actively enjoy the amenities and beach. We do protect our tenants from excessive noise/partying by not renting to young people under 26 and we have Bayside Management who will address any tenant who does not comply with noise levels. While pillows can be a very personal choice, we purchased more of a variety of firm and semi-firm pillows to better serve our guests in the future. A new master comforter is being ordered. The tile was re-grouted in areas of concern last week and cleaned. We hope our future tenants will please let us know during a stay if there are concerns we can take care of immediately.

Great place for the family

Perfect amount of space for our family of five. Only complaint would be that having more than one garbage bag in the kitchen would be nice.

Comfort and convenience within the condo definitely includes having extra kitchen garbage bags for trash. This will be corrected, and we appreciate our guests' communication about this. (Our cleaning crew gets rave reviews on their cleanliness and thorough care. They will be concerned that this was missed, also. Excellence is important to them.)

Great rental for our large family

The unit was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. It was well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Easy access to the lazy river and pools and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Appliances were nice. Covered parking was nice benefit as well.
