Comfortable but parking was rediculous!
When we initially looked at the property online it was ideal for our visit. Clean, roomy enough for all of us. Great kitchen too. I looked at previous reviews and thought 'parking can't be that bad'. Well it was worse. For a place that sleeps 10 + comfortably you can only park 1 vehicle on premises. What group that large only takes 1 vehicle???
Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are glad that you found the condo to be comfortable and roomy. We do understand that parking can be frustrating. Many of the homeowners associations throughout the town of Breckenridge only allow one car per unit. The town does provide overflow parking to help with this. Wyndham also provides an on-call shuttle service which will take you anywhere in town limits as well as to the overflow parking.
Needs a little work
Place was hot. Could really use fans in the rooms for air circulation. Couldn't open the windows at night because of road traffic and loud people coming back from the bars. Dining room chairs are all wobbly and need replacing. Only 1 parking pass for a 3 br condo? Had to park almost a mile away for an extra charge.
Thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback and will consider ceiling fans for the future. Great news is we do supply box fans in every bedroom. We are glad you mentioned parking- all units at Double Eagle receive one parking pass and this is an HOA rule we must obey. We are fortunate the town has designated parking lots of overnight parking of additional vehicles. Our Wyndham shuttle is available to bring guests back from those parking lots or eliminate the need for a car entirely!
My family of 6 enjoyed the condo for three days of hiking in the mountains in July. The location is great for convenient access to town... only a 4 minute walk. A hot tub is adjacent to the building, although the 4-digit access code to open the gate was not easy to obtain. We got the code from the front desk (at the Main Street Station), but it was wrong. Some kids were in the hot tub in the evening and gave us the correct code. A pool is available, but not close to the building. The condo itself is very nice: full galley-style kitchen with gas range & large fridge. Three bedrooms: two with queen beds and one with a pair of twin beds. The loft has another twin bed, but is accessed by a ladder bolted to the wall. The bed in the master bdrm is a bit on the soft side, but okay. The L-shaped couch in the living room looks nice, but is quite tired; you sink deeply into it when you sit down and one of the legs is missing. Those are the only negatives. Everything else is wonderful. Good wifi signal. There was no charge for cleaning as is assessed for some other condos, but you have to take out the trash, strip the bedding, and wash the dishes before you leave. That's a minor investment to save the cleaning charge. Every day, we were entertained by a fox who worked the parking area for scraps of food and live squirrels. Unattended tiny dogs would definitely fall victim. Overall, we liked the place and would stay there again.

We agree Double Eagle has fantastic location since it is a short walk to Main Street but also adjacent to the ski run and summer hiking trails. The fox you saw is just one example of the many wildlife viewing opportunities!
