This apartment is ideally located on waynesville's bustling main street over tipping point tavern and brewery, with plenty of space to relax and an easy walk to shopping and dining. It has an open floor plan with a well laid out kitchen, dining and living area with views of beautiful waynesville at each window and off the patio. All wood floors, big windows and sky lights make the space bright and airy, with plenty of room to relax, cook and entertain. Upstairs from main street, there is also plenty of privacy, despite the main street entrance.
Large and airy this bright beautiful apartment sits like an oasis above busy main street and the lively restaurant and tavern below. With sights of both mountains and downtown, it is ideally located for shopping, dining and strolling the town of waynesville, and is only minutes from the beautiful blue ridge parkway and great smoky mountains national park.
Great spot. We stayed there over Christmas. Plenty of room for the five of us. Awesome location for shopping and dining. We'll certainly look to stay there again time we head to the mountains.
I had to make an "emergency" trip to Waynesville from Charlotte for a funeral, and picked this place because of its location and what I guess could be called a "mountain urban" vibe. Given the circumstances, I was not in a "party" mood, and I am 55 years old, and I was somewhat reticent to spend my weekend above a restaurant/bar. HOWEVER...it was great. Exceedingly clean. Large, good views of main street on the front, nice private deck with grill on the back. Plenty of plates, cooking utensils, etc. The building is so large that on the second floor you are very much isolated from any noise that might be coming from below. And I did venture down for some very good beer and very friendly people. Main street is a great place to stroll, nice small shops to wander around in. Had very good meals at the Sweet Onion, Frogs Leap Public House, and Tipping Point (below). Panacea Coffee is a three or four block walk and you can have great coffee sitting next to a calm creek in Frog Level. We got to go foods (cheese, salami) and good hard cider from the Sunburst Market in the same block.
One clue: to turn shower on, pull down the ring on the end of the tub spout.
We had a wonderful time in Waynesville and look forward to visiting there in the future.
Our second visit and we had a great time. The apartment is clean and spacious. Full kitchen (even though because of the nearby restaurants and pubs, we didn't cook much), nice living room and comfy beds. Great fluffy towels and wonderful soaps, shampoos and lotions from a Hazelwood Soap Company. It is a little noisy because you are on Main Street. The Tipping Point Pub below plays music and has trivia night but it is not too loud and other than the weekend, seems to go quiet pretty early. We also appreciate the ability to bring our dog. He loves strolling along Main Street greeting all the passersby and visiting his favorite shop, The Dog Bakery. It is a fun location if you enjoy being near the shops and restaurants. Don't miss out on Sweet Onion, or Tipping Point Pub or any of the several restaurants within a quick stroll of the apartment. Parking is just behind the building. We love Waynesville and think you would too.
Windy has done a great job in preparing for her guests every need. We had 2 adults and 5 teenagers in our group and there was more than enough room. It was a great home away from home to have while exploring and hiking some of the many places around. We definitely plan on a return trip. Thank you Windy for making our trip most enjoyable!
This place was amazing for our stay!! Location was great.. Steps to all the cutest shops and most important the Mast General Store.. Comfy beds for great sleep.. Balcony was great for sitting outside listening to music from bar downstairs. We love Waynesville already and now we love Tippy Top!! Home away from home:))
