Relax on the beaches of charming St. Simons Island in this quiet, beautifully renovated two story townhome. We have brand new comfortable mattresses & bedding, gorgeous kitchen cabinets with granite counters, attractive plank flooring & carpet and new bathroom vanities with attractive fixtures. Everything is fresh and clean and ready for you to enjoy!

The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a full size washer and dryer if you need them during your stay.

Have fun in the neighborhood pool or fish and feed turtles in our neighborhood's lagoon. We have a private, enclosed outdoor shower to wash off sand upon your return from the beach or as an additional shower in which to bathe. There is also an outdoor storage shed to store all your beach and fishing equipment. Bring your bikes if you want, as this is a locked storage unit.

Our townhome is adjacent to a golf course and backs up to a fitness center which accepts daily and weekly memberships. We also are on the paved bike trails which lead into the Village area and other destinations on St. Simons.

As far a sleeping arrangements....One bedroom has a Queen size bed with a new mattress and a 3 inch gel topper. The other bedroom has a King size bed also with new mattresses and box springs.

You will have 2 individually marked parking spaces right in front of the townhome.

We ask you to only park in the places marked for #28.

3 generations of my family have enjoyed our place on St. Simons for the past 33 years.

About Cathy Webb Purswell

I am a native Georgian and have owned our place on St. Simons for 31 years. 3 generations of our family have enjoyed this gorgeous island and I hope to retire there in the near future.

I also love to travel and have been all over the the Far East to the Middle East to Europe and throughout the USA and Canada. Having rented many apartments overseas, I feel like I know and appreciate what other travelers desire (like decent sized kitchens and bathrooms :)

I'll be happy to assist you with any plans for your Island getaway and can let you know where the locals eat and fun places off the beaten path.

Why Cathy Webb Purswell chose St Simons Island

I bought this townhome as a single person and loved it as a getaway from fast paced Atlanta. Then, I had children and loved it as a second home - a place for them to have idyllic summers. Now, I'm semi-retired and love it even more. Each period has been the best!

I like the fact that the unit is a 2 story townhome. No on is above or below you so it is very quiet. It is more spacious than apartment style condos and has 2 private parking spaces so there is no wandering through a parking lot looking for your car.

Also, we are located near the only road to the mainland so it is very convenient to shopping, medical facilities and I-95.

Nice townhouse with great access to location s on St Simons and easy drive to Jekyll island.

Convenient location, nice size space.

We were happy with the convenience of the property. There were several fans upstairs, I think 2-3 in each bedroom. The very first night we were miserably hot even with the fans on. The condo is left on 80 degrees when vacant, so when we got there at 5:30, we turned the thermostat down, and it never seemed to cool off enough upstairs. The downstairs temperature was fine though, of course heat rises. I think that this could have been prevented if housekeeping would have lowered the thermostat prior to our arrival. Also, make sure you take toilet paper. I understand that it is not the properties responsibility to provide lots of supplies, however there was only one roll per bathroom, which required us to go to the nearby CVS on the second day of the trip. The check and out process were very smooth and the owner is very nice and easy to work with. There was a neat , private outside shower which was a plus being that there is only one shower inside of the condo.

Great Owner, Great location, Satisfied Customer!

We enjoyed our stay at Cathy's property. We were able to meet her in person and she was very kind & helpful. Everything is furnished in the home for your convenience. Also, the condo is close to the village/pier/beach area via Torras Causeway & Kings Way, which leads you directly into the village on your right. We also appreciate the non-smoking and no pets allowed policy. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future. I do recommend this property. Thanks Cathy! :)

Car: necessary

A new activity that is quite popular is sport shark fishing. The thrill is in catching a shark and then reeling it in which is quite a struggle. Then, the shark is cut loose as it gets close to the boat.

We like to go watch the dolphins play in the Frederica River off the fishing pier at Epworth by the Sea or down at the Yacht Club. Both places are only 2-3 minutes from our townhome.

Of course, the beach activities are only a few minutes away.

Check out Southeastern Expeditions in the Village for kayak rentals and tours thru the marshes and out into the ocean.

St. Simons is on the Coastal Georgia Bird Watching Trail and there are several marked stops for your convenience.

Kids love to spend a few hours looking for the Tree Spirits - these are carvings into the sides of huge oak trees. Pick up a brochure at the Visitors Info Center and go on a hunt for all 5 of them.

For history lovers, be sure to visit Fort Frederica, Christ Church Frederica and its graveyard, and the Lighthouse. If you can read Eugenia Price's historical fiction trilogy on St. Simons before your trip, the Island will come to life for you during your stay.
