ART HOUSE - Studio is a stylish contemporary design in a heritage space. Tucked away at the rear of one of Portland's trendy CBD laneways, with one of Portland finest cafes, shops and beach on your doorstep. This is modern metro style accommodation with a country beach side town as your backdrop.

Opening into the fully equipped kitchen that includes dishwasher, microwave and euro style laundry facilities, the studio then flows to the dining and lounge area. Tucked away at the rear is a king size bed and enclosed bathroom. The Studio also features a day bed that can be utilised as a double bed for additional guests.

ART HOUSE - Studio is the perfect option to couple with the ART HOUSE - Loft accommodation, with complete separate facilities that are both self contained. Holiday with family or friends and enjoy comfort and privacy, while still staying within close proximity to each other.


*Seasonal rates apply. Advertised nightly rate is for 4 guests. A guest surcharge of $25 per guest per night above 4 guests applies. All bookings have a one off $35 booking fee applied by PSHS. Additional third party booking fees may apply depending on the website you are booking through.

What do i need to do to confirm my booking?

We require a copy of driver's license's of all adult guests and booking deposit. Only once all of this has been recieved, will booking be confirmed.

Do I need to pay a bond? Yes, a security deposit (bond) will be required on booking of $500. Keys will not be issued unless credit card details have been provided as a surety procedure. Management reserves the right to increase the bond to $1000 in some instances.

What happens to my booking payments in the event the government directs a lockdown on my dates of travel?

In the event government directs a lockdown for your dates of travel we would discuss either a full refund minus the booking fee or the option of changing your booking dates. Changing of booking dates may incur an additional fee.

What happens if the Government restrictions affect my booking because the guests reside in different addresses, and I decide to no longer take my booking as not all the guests can come along?

Normal terms and conditions would apply if you decided to cancel the booking.

Portland art house review
Loved our stay here , very cosy and comfortable studio .. bed was extra comfy .. only thing we couldn’t find was wifi access ? Hair dryer ? Pigeons shat all over our car each night but we found parking between the rafters helped .. maybe a sign in car parking would help ...Otherwise just perfect and would definitely come back ... 👏😁

The Architect

Nice property that marginally misses the mark
The studio is well presented and thoughtfully decorated, and wouldn't look out of place in an issue of 'Architectural Digest' although it smells musty and damp due to a lack of ventilation. Overall there was a very fine layer of dust on most surfaces. There are only 2 windows that let fresh air in, but unfortunately they are at street level and facing an unpaved parking area outside, letting in dust whenever a car drives past the windows. Fine dust aside, the cleaning standards were exceeded in certain areas--the linens were crisp and inviting for example, but below standard in others. Whilst the bathroom was very clean overall, the wash basin needed some attention. In the kitchen there were no complaints, except for the microwave which had food splatter throughout the interior and thus we avoided using it. Perhaps moving it from the present location above the fridge to the kitchen counter may help with the cleanup next time. We enjoyed the art studio very much but sadly the issue with the lack of ventilation will be a deal breaker in the future, at least for these reviewers.
