We came in for the WCWS. This place was perfect in every aspect. Close to everything and super clean and easy.

Not happy.

  • 1 of 5

My friend and I meet every year to spend a few days together, and have rented some very nice homes over the years. The only good thing I can say about this house was the location, close to everything we wanted to do while in OKC. To start off, I did not receive an email with instructions until I was about 20 miles from the house, and although I had called a week before asking for this information, what they told me over the phone was not complete and did not allow for entry. My husband called me to let me know there was more to enter than the security code, and the Wi-Fi password, which was supposed to be in the email, was not there. Upon entering the house, we discovered dead bugs in the kitchen sink and all over the kitchen and dining area floor. Walking across the tile floor sounded like we were walking on Velcro as there was something sticky all over. There were large, dusty cobwebs hanging from the bathroom ceiling, and dead bugs and hair all over the floor and rug. When we used the microwave, we found dried food on the tray. The owners had said if we needed anything, just call. Well, I called at 8:00 AM and left a message that I needed the Wi-Fi password and that I was not happy about the condition of the house. At 4:15 PM, I called back to get the password and the woman who answered the phone was rude, but I finally got the password (that I remind you was supposed to be in the email). The next day it rained and the water came pouring in the front window, down the curtains and the wall. I called and reported this and was told they would pass that information on. If this house is rented as much as they say, then maybe they need to block a day each month for a thorough cleaning. I was not impressed with the real house as I was with the photos and reviews. I also felt the owners dropped the ball when it came to information and instructions. There were other things that were a disappointment, such as the broken coffee pot, dishes left in the washer, 4-cup filters for a 12-cup coffee pot, and little things like that. This house is owned by a real estate company and is for sale, so I feel there should be a bit more attention paid to it.

Cozy and quiet

  • 5 of 5

The property was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It is located close to several attractions in town, We went to the zoo, several museums, a ball game and the water park. All were within 15 minutes of the house. The landlord was available anytime we needed anything. If staying in OKC I would suggest staying here.

Vacation well spent

  • 4 of 5

The house was just what we needed for our weekend in OKC. Our only complaint was the fridge not working. Everything else was great!

Conveniently Located in OKC

  • 4 of 5

Overall, the property was in fairly good condition and conveniently located in OKC with most of the amenities one would need during stay including WiFi. There was some noise from trains in the early morning mornings, but not bothersome. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe during my stay. I was able to cook a few meals while I was there which really was so much nicer than a typical hotel stay. I would certainly stay at this property again, if the need arose.

The property owner should look at putting more information in the HomeAway App as I had questions about the property before I arrived. Nonetheless, I was able to reach out to the property manager with questions to which answers were provided in a timely manner.
