Die Ferienwohnung ist im 4. Obergeschoss eines im Dezember 2010 fertig gestellten Passivhauses im Stadtteil Vauban. Die Wohnung ist gedacht für zwei Personen. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem großen Schrank. Die Küchenzeile im offenen Wohn-Essbereich ist vollständig ausgestattet. Der große Südbalkon mit Blick zum Schönberg ist im Sommer gut beschattet und bietet viel Raum zum Entspannen.
Es gibt zwei für alle HausbewohnerInnen benutzbare Dachterrassen mit einem sehr schönen Rundumblick über die Stadt und die ganze Umgebung. In der Wohnung gibt es einen DSL-Anschluß, Fernseh- und Radiogerät mit Andockstationen für Ihren i-pod o.ä. Die Wohnung ist mit Lift erreichbar, barrierefrei organisiert, das Bad hat eine bodengleiche Dusche. Die Waschmaschine im Keller kann benutzt werden, Bügelmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Für den Kurzausflug ins Quartier gibt es zwei einfache Fahrräder, wer ambitioniertere Ausfahrten machen will, kann sich Räder im Stadtteil ausleihen.

Notes:
The apartment is limited handicapped accessible, but not suitable for electric wheelchair, the kitchen is not wheelchair accessible. Pets, dogs require an extra appointment. There is a controlled ventilation: Every time fresh air is supplied to the stale air sucked off and blown through a heat exchanger. You can live the whole year with the windows closed and thus contribute to energy conservation, since the heat energy in the circuit of the house is maintained. You can, of course, but also open the window ... The roof terraces and parts of the garden are usable accessible to all. In the garage, a parking space will be used.

A Great Place to Stay

Started with good communication with Gabi by email and SMS. Gabi & Thomas met us at the apartment and showed us around. The apartment is exactly as photographed, so clean and well maintained that we felt we were the first people ever to use the apartment. I was staying with my wife and teenage daughters, the girls had the bedroom, my wife and I slept on the most comfortable sofa bed I had ever slept on. Every type of kitchen utensil you could think of is in the drawers -really well equipped apartment with super fast internet.

I decided to leave the car in the basement garage most of the time, the tram is 5 minutes walk from the apartment which takes you all over Freiburg (and to the station). We took the car into the Black Forest a couple of times and the train to Basel and the tram to the great cable car ride at the edge of town.

In a week we just scratched the surface of the things to do in the area, we will be back to do the rest!

The apartment is new and rather spacious with a large balcony and a magnificent view on the mountains. It is well equipped with all necessary facilities. The apartment is situated in a very special ecologically advanced district, full of greenery. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The town center can be easily reached by tram, the tram stop is in 3 minutes walk. We really enjoyed our stay in Freiburg in BlauPause. We will recomend everybody to stay in this apartment.

Die blauPause ist sehr gut und gemütlich eingerichtet. Zum Kochen ist alles da, was man braucht, sogar Kochbücher. Ein Bücherregal mit interessanten Büchern lädt zum Schmökern ein. Toll ist auch der Blick vom Balkon aus auf den Schwarzwald.

Es gibt viele Gründe, wiederzukommen.

The apartment is located in new, modern Vauban district, the heart of the Green City Freiburg. Here is ecological living and live well visible. The district is also an interface between urban and leisure and recreation. The walking tours in the Black Forest, for example. B. on the Schauinsland tower can start at the front door. But the drive to the concert hall, the cathedral or to stroll in the city center by tram takes just 15 minutes. To ride their bikes to cherry at the Kaiserstuhl, lends itself just like a trip to Basel in the famous art museum or an incomparable market in Mulhouse in Alsace.

In the district itself you will find all kinds of shops in the immediate vicinity, you can also eat and drink in a pleasant atmosphere here, once a week there is a farmer's market with local produce.
