Our home (SBR Covina model) is tastefully appointed with Southwest decor, fully furnished, immaculate, and very comfortable, with 2100 sq ft of rental living area in new Robson Community, Saddlebrooke Ranch. (We also have a 300 sq ft casita on our property, but it is NOT included in the rental.) We are located 30 miles north of Tucson, AZ. All community amenities included with rental - golf, swimming (indoor and outdoor pools), exercise rooms, card rooms, pool table area, restaurant, and more. Property also includes E-Z-Go Golf cart for tenants use. Back patio has mountain views, built-in fire pit, Gas BBQ Grill, and outdoor furniture. Both front and back patios are fenced.
Master suite has a King Bed with 2 nightstand and large dresser, double sink and glass walled shower, and large walk-in closet. Guest BR also has a King bed and includes full bath. Bedding, and towels are included for each bed.
Home also has a 1/2 bath near Great Room.
Kitchen is fully furnished, and includes small electric appliances including toaster, blender, coffee maker, etc., as well as dishes, glasses, silverware. You will be able to cook gourmet meals, as all cooking utensils and pots and pans are available.
My husband and I purchased our dream retirement home the summer of 2015. We are about one year ahead of our planned retirement (December of 2018), so we have completed the furnishing and will rent our home for the several months. We own a home in Indiana, close to 2 sons and 3 grandchildren, and ultimately will be spending the long winter months here in paradise! We enjoy so many of the wonderful amenities provided at Saddlebrooke Ranch - golf, swimming, bridge, walking - and are eager to be here spending our retirement.

We have vacationed and looked at retirement communities in various states all around the country, but found Saddlebrooke Ranch and the North Tucson area just perfect for us! We love the low humidity, have really enjoyed the unexpectedly beautiful monsoon season while here during August and early September, and the higher elevation at at Saddlebrooke Ranch provides an almost constant breeze and cooler temperatures than Phoenix or Tucson -- yet both cities are nearby to enjoy.
The beauty of the mountains all around our area is amazing. Our back patio is the perfect place for morning coffee and paper, and for the evening sunsets. Each person we have met at the Ranch has been extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. The amenities here are all amazing, and driving our golf cart around and waving at the new faces has been a joy. We could not be more pleased with our choice of home and community!
It will be very hard to leave this highly recommended, beautifully furnished and fully equipped home at the end of my current March/April 2016 vacation. The home is welcoming, luxurious, and comfortably furnished inside and out. The gorgeous sunny days of AZ are easily enjoyed in the nicely landscaped and fully fenced, southwest facing backyard which provides extra privacy and a sense of security, as well as great views of stunning sunsets and the surrounding mountains. A second private outside living area is also offered in an enclosed front paver courtyard which is also accessible from a sliding glass door in the office/den. Traveling to the SB Ranch's many amenities including the golf course, pickleball courts, pool, fitness center, etc. in the owner's supplied golf cart is a real rental bonus that is so much more fun than driving a car !
The owners, Ken and Rebecca, were so helpful and went out of their way to make me feel welcome in their home. They left a 3 ring binder in the home that included not only important home and SBR tips and equipment instructions but, dining and sightseeing suggestions along with the contact information of their local property manager should a need arise (which never occurred). If I could, I would rent this beauty of a home for my winter vacation escape for the next 30 + years but the owners plan to live here themselves next winter. I hope to return annually to SBR because it is hard to imagine a more fun, friendly, active adult community than SBR but, I am afraid it will be hard to ever find another rental that offers as much as this gem of a home!
Saddlebrooke Ranch is located about 30 miles north of Tucson, with new development of shopping and groceries within 10 - 12 miles. Tucson airport is about 38 miles to the south. Phoenix is to the north, with PHX airport, approximately 100 miles. Many beautiful locations in multiple directions from SBR - to the north Sedona, Flagstaff, Pine Top-Lakeside, and GrandCanyon Nat'l Park, and to the south Mt. Lemmon, Tuback, and all that the local mountains and Tucson offers.
