This lovely 2 bedroom ground floor apartment is located within minutes of Chatel town centre and Super Chatel ski lifts.
It comprises of a Living room/dining room with a modern corner sofa which can transform into a double bed, a 4 seat dining table that can be extended to seat 6 if required, a wall mounted LED TV, with built in DVD player and USB input to view photos, movies etc, there is also a docking speaker for Ipods and Iphones. Off this room there is an exit to a large South West facing terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains.
Bedroom number 1 has a double bed, two bedside tables with lamps and a fitted wardrobe.
Bedroom number 2 has 2 x 90cm single beds that can be pushed together to form another double bed if required, two bedside tables with lamps and a fitted wardrobe.
The kitchenette comprises of a fridge freezer, 4 ring electric hob, full size electric oven and grill and a separate microwave oven, there is a dishwasher fitted in the hall adjacent to the kitchen. All kitchenware is provided including coffee maker, kettle and toaster.
There is a fully fitted bathroom comprising sink, bath, hand held hose and bathroom cabinet for storage.
A separate room containing a shower with another separate room containing the WC.
The apartment has the benefits of a dedicated parking space at the front of the building, private secure cave for storage of skis and boots located along the corridor from the front door and also a secure but shared bicycle storage room, located in the building across from the dedicated parking space, both of which are locked.

This is a lovely bright, spacious, modern chalet with a fabulous view over Linga. It is perfectly situated between the Super-Chatel telecabine and the new Portes du Soliel/Gabelou lifts so it's easy to access Linga and Pre-la-Joux too, and the ski bus stops right at the top of the road. The chalet is well equipped and warm, plus the separate shower, bathroom and WC are a real bonus. Also great is the spacious hallway with plenty of room for coats/boots etc. We went with a 10 month old baby, so the lift down to the chalet was really useful. We would definitely recommend this chalet and will hopefully be re-visiting again in the future.
The residence “Les Balcons de Chatel' is a 4 storey chalet style building built in 2007 situated in Chatel in a quiet sunny position off the main street boasting beautiful views of the mountains.
The town has retained its original village charm while it has blossomed with the growth of snow sports in the Portes du Soleil ski area which boasts in excess of 650 km of pisted skiing.
It is a family friendly village and has excellent ski schools for children and adults alike. Chatel is linked with the resorts of Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets. The Super Chatel ski lift is only a short walk from the apartment or use the excellent free bus service to access the other lifts located in the village. The Ski lifts are also open during July and August when the mountains can be enjoyed on foot, mountain bike, or from the comfort of a mountain restaurant!Other summer pastimes include white water rafting, horse riding and watersports. In the evening Chatel is well served by many restaurants and bars.
