About Angela Karpi
We're both graduates of Apache Junction High School and have spent the last 20 years moving around the country with the Navy. We explored the coastlines while Stephen was stationed on various submarines. We've recently come back to Arizona and he currently oversees the Southwest Recruiting District and he says he plans to retire in the next few years. (I've heard that before. Wink, wink.) We have 4 children and several pets. I'm a registered nurse with no plans of retiring any time soon. :-).
Angela Karpi purchased this House in 2015
Why Angela Karpi chose Apache Junction
This property has been in the family for over 30 years. It's humble beginnings featured a double wide manufactured home in the middle of an overgrown acre +. We recently had the opportunity to update and improve upon this outstanding location and are proud to provide a new, beautiful home and guest house to keep in the family for the next 30 years and beyond. It's our pleasure to share our little gem in the desert with you! Please be patient as we are continually improving the landscape. ;)
What makes this House unique
Each day you're awakened by the sun peering over the majestic Superstition Mountains, several species of birds singing joyfully, quails crossing at a stone's throw. You may have the opportunity to see the local carriage drawn by mules or have a coyote cross your path. The night sky is brilliantly lit by millions of stars and there's no better place to see a full moon. The breeze is always welcome and if it's a little too warm for your liking, you can drive north and be in a cooler climate in a few short hours. There are endless outdoor activities to enjoy: several lakes and the Salt River are nearby, numerous hiking trails, stables, biking, and festivals... just to name a few. All major cities are easy to access.

Fantastic Vacation Rental we ever experienced
Quail Crossing Guest house in Apache Junction was wonderful, inside & outside. We highly recommend this to all. Beautiful views of the Superstition Mountains, lots of wildlife to watch and close enough to shopping, restaurants and activities. Our hosts, Steve & Angela were wonderful to work with and quick to respond when we had questions. We did many side trips to Sedona, Lake Havasu with the London Bridge, Petrified National Forest, and Las Vegas just to name a few. Thanks again for a Fantastic Arizona Vacation Steve & Angela, the Barnard Family, Ludington, Michigan.
Mike and Sherry,
It was so nice to meet both of you and we're thrilled you enjoyed your stay! You did more exploring than I've done in the last 4 years! I just love your sense of adventure! Thank you for taking such great care of the casita...it's greatly appreciated!
Awesome house and hosts
The house is new, very well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts were super attentive throughout the stay and always there if you needed anything. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
Wild West Atmosphere and Adventure
Quail Crossing was the perfect place to return to after our days of touring (Telisian West, Cosanti, Fountain Hills Art Show...), our days of hiking (Silly Mountain, Lost Dutchman State Park, Boyce Thompson Arboretium) and trail riding (Donelley's Stable's in Peralta...ask for "Gary" the nicest Wrangler you'll ever meet!) The Casita is beautiful inside and out...thoughtfully designed, decorated and equipped and Steve and Angela were super hosts. We would highly recommend a stay at Quail Crossing in Apache Junction for a taste of the real Wild West.
Rob and Sheri,
We are so happy you enjoyed your time at the casita. Thank you for leaving it in such wonderful condition!
Until next time-
