Updated 950 sq ft 2 bed/ 2 bath condo steps from Big Sky Resort base area! Takes 2 minutes to walk to lifts (closer then skier parking) and ski in when snow conditions allow! Base area restaurants, market, shopping, coffee and gifts all steps away. Unit has 1 upstairs bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4) and a lower master suite with a queen bed (not accessible if mobility is limited, access is a narrow spiral staircase and there is not a door that separates this lower level from the living room. It is like a reverse loft). Queen inflatable mattress for extra sleeping space. 2 full bathrooms, one of which has a tub. Fireplace with plenty of available fire wood, full well stocked kitchen, dining area, living room with large sectional (TV with satellite), and a balcony. Views of Spanish Peaks. WiFi. Check In 4pm, Check Out 10am.
We live in Missoula and enjoy recreating in Big Sky every chance we get. Our hope is to provide a comfortable and more reasonably priced option compared to most of what is available right on the mountain.
Julie purchased this condo in 2014
This unit is not large, nor does it have a lot of bells and whistles. It is updated and quite comfortable after a day filled with recreating. While not ski in ski out, it is steps from the lifts (even our five year old can carry her own gear walking in ski boots to the lift without complaining) and when the snow allows it is ski in.
We were here for 6 nights in August. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner was friendly and helpful. Those spiral stairs are a bit of a challenge. Shower heads in both baths are rather low. Something I notice with a tall husband!
Wished there had been a grill but maybe those are not allowed?
Excellent location- we were working and hosting a conference in Huntley and it was closer than some of the rooms. Sitting on the deck listening to the creek each evening was a perfect relaxation spot. Our dogs loved it too. Thank you!
We stayed here and did day trips to Yellowstone Park. It had everything we needed, was located within steps of all amenities on the ski hill, and had plenty of beds for everyone. There's lots of great hiking in and around Big Sky as well. All in all, the price on this condo was very reasonable and provided us with a great place to stay to explore this majestic area!
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was on the first floor which was great. We had family staying at the Lodge at Big Sky and that was only a 5 minute walk which was nice. The condo is cozy and they provide you with little things you may need or have forgotten which was really nice. We came in summer so we didn't use the fireplace but it was gorgeous and I definitely would have if it weren't 80F! The patio is really nice to eat breakfast or drink some coffee on. It just felt really homey and well taken care of. We also loved the style. :) Great views aroung there too. If we go back to Gig Sky we will definitely try to stay there! Thanks Julie!
Condo was a great location in Big Sky - a short walk to the main area, lifts, and to the Huntly Lodge pool / hot tub which we were allowed to use. Very cute, clean, up to date - nice decor & furnishings. It was lighter and brighter than the photos show. Three of us spent a day inside when too tired to ski and had a lovely time. There is a wood burning fireplace in the livingroom, which, if we hadn't have been too lazy to go get wood, we would have loved to have used. Kitchen was stocked with condiments and seasonings which was appreciated. (We spent 5 nights in Beaverhead Condos which we rented through Big Sky's main reservation line and they only had salt.) Master bedroom was set up like a loft without a door, below the livingroom, down a very narrow spiral staircase - that was a surprise. It meant that there wouldn't be any sleeping in the master until whoever was in the livingroom had vacated. (That may have been clear in the description and I just didn't look closely) We had two teenagers sharing the room with two sets of bunkbeds. Both teens said that the metal bunk beds were very squeaky and had trouble sleeping. We were very happy to have figured out, after the first night, how to turn the heat off in the master and make the clicking sounds from the heat stop. Julie, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. I think this condo was a good value , great location and very cute!
One of the best vbro properties we have stayed at.
Felt like a was staying in a home. Comfy and clean
Very short walk to slopes and mountain restaurants and shops
Julie extremely helpful and easy to work with. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
