Wonderful experience at this pristine antique in a quiet neighborhood in central Newburyport.

This wonderful home makes you feel like buying a house in Newburyport! The owner is responsive and friendly, as is the property manager, Margo. The house is tastefully renovated and extremely comfortable. The quirky configuration of the rooms was a delight for us. The kitchen is fully equipped and contained most of the essentials one would need. Everything was clean and fresh, right down to the towels and linens provided by the owner. It was a great experience for us - thank you Lisa and Margo.

Adorable house in a charming town

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was great for kids. Close to multiple playgrounds, the waterfront and a 10 min walk to to town. Everyone was really easy to work with and responsive.

FYI- this wasn't an issue for us but two bedrooms can only be accessed through either another bedroom or bathroom.

Would highly recommend to others!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Our best friends got married in the Newburyport area on a beautiful September weekend. We rented this home and the guest cottage also on the property for members of the bridal party. It was the most perfect home base for all the wedding weekend activities. Wonderful location to all that downtown Newburyport has to offer. The charm and comfort of the homes was the perfect backdrop for the groom and his men to get ready and enjoy their time together before the ceremony. Only thing that was missing in the home was a deck of playing cards! :)

Classic and Quaint

  • 5 of 5

Lovely house and setting. The décor feels like a home, and the yard is excellent. Clean isn't an accurate word to use about how this house is kept, it was pristine.

Perfect for families or groups of friends. Equipped with absolutely everything you'd need, including hair dryers in both bathrooms, plenty of kitchen material, wonderful linens and oodles of comfy seating.

Such a pleasant place to spend some time!

Lovely home in a beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

We had a fun, relaxing vacation with our out-of-town relatives who had never visited the North Shore before. The home was immaculately clean and the owners have taken great care to furnish it with comfortable, interesting furniture. The garden is gorgeous and the kitchen is well laid out. We all had plenty of space to relax and not bump into each other. All in all, this is one of the best family vacations we've had and the house was a big part of that. I would absolutely recommend it.

Great Historic Home, Nicely Appointed, Perfectly Located

  • 5 of 5

This house was the perfect home away from home when my husband and I were in town with other family member's for a niece's graduation. The house is charming and comfortable, the gardens are lovely, and the back yard was perfect for my brother-in-law and nephew to play a game of catch. Although we didn't use it much, the kitchen was well-equipped for those who would like to cook. The living room was very comfortable for late night chats. l'm not sure if info regarding the beds was included in the description; one bedroom has a king bed, two have full (double) beds, and one a twin, and there is another twin bed downstairs as well. All in our party reported that the beds were comfortable and all slept well. One thing that might be of concern to some is the arrangement of the bedrooms. One bedroom can only be reached by passing through another; and a third bedroom is reached by passing through the shared upstairs bathroom. None of this was a problem for our group, but it could potentially be awkward depending on the people involved.

Margo, the property manager, was just delightful in her communication and in showing us the house and property. She checked in by text on our second day to make sure all was well.

The location of the house is fantastic: it is an easy walk down to the waterfront and to downtown. Plenty of maps, brochures and information on Newburyport and the environs were provided at the house.

We would absolutely rent this property again, should the need arise, and would heartily recommend it.
