Conveniently located in the center of the island, just steps from dining, shopping, and activities, you also get access to a gated, private pool shared with just 4 other homes in One Charleston Place. A private boardwalk is just steps to the beach.

With hardwood floors throughout, multiple private decks, flat screen TVs, WiFi and more, One Charleston Place offers all the best amenities!

The main floor features spacious open concept kitchen, living, and dining areas. Modern, fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops. Convenient powder room on main floor. Step out onto your deck over looking the pool .

The 2nd floor features 2 bedrooms, both with private, en suite bathrooms and cable-equipped flat screen televisions. The master bedroom features a king bed. From here, step directly onto your very own private balcony with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. The second bedroom is outfitted with 2 twin beds. Laundry, with full size washer and dryer, is also conveniently located on this floor.

On the 3rd floor, there is another king-sized bed with private, en suite bathroom. This room also features cable-equipped flat screen television. Sorry NO pets!!!!

We are a family from Atlanta, Georgia. We discovered St. George Island a few years ago, and have been vacationing there as much as possible ever since!

One Charleston Place #E was the perfect place for our family of 6 to spend the Easter holiday. The house is very clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed, including beach towels! Lori, the owner, was fabulous to work with from the time of our booking until after we left. Along the way, she was a wealth of knowledge that gave us great tips on where to eat and with whom to book excursions with. We spent everyday on the beautiful beach watching dolphins and sea turtles swim right there near us! The pool was a great place for the kids to wind down while my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine poolside and made dinner plans! We're so glad we found this jewel and hope we can come back and enjoy this little piece of heaven again!

Every bit as pretty as it looks. Go for the unit, the views, the sweet owner and the location!

This unit is managed by the owner, Lori, a very sweet lady who is easy to reach and communicate with. The unit is exactly as it is pictured. It has a beautiful, elegantly casual beach vibe. The towels and linens are all very nice and the beds are extremely comfortable. There are views on every floor.

The unit is right as you come to the beach on SGI, walking distance to bars, restaurants, Piggly Wiggly and a liquor store. It is fast and easy to get over to Apalachicola, and there is an oyster bar (Lynn's only a few minutes away). The unit is close to the beach and has a beautiful pool shared with 4 other units. The patio is well appointed and there is a private charcoal grill and outdoor shower at the bottom of the stairs.

You have stunning sunrise views from the patio every morning. Sunsets are easily viewed from the beach right in front of the unit. It doesn't get any better. The sand feels like baby powder and the water is gorgeous. Because the 5 units are by themselves, there were very few people on our beach, which we enjoyed. The unit has 2 assigned parking spaces right in front.

The unit was sparkling clean and the kitchen was well appointed. They had almost every gadget including a cheese grater and a blender. There are lots of big bowls, pots and serving dishes if you wish to cook. There was a pot big enough for all 4 of our lobsters. There is a coffee maker and a Kuerig.

The 2nd floor Master Suite also has a stunning patio. There is no patio on the 3rd floor. There is a nice big laundry room and Lori even provides a basket of beach towels for you. Each bedroom has its own bath plus there is a half bath on the first floor.

The first floor is all of the living areas, the second floor is a Master Suite and a room with 2 twin beds and the third floor is a bedroom with a King bed and small bath, but no door at the top of the stairs. We stayed in the 3rd floor, because we are fit and did not mind the stairs. The 3rd floor King bed is very comfortable and the bath is very nice, but a tad small. Every room has nice linens, and big, white towels. There was a blow dryer under every sink.

If you need anything, you can reach Lori almost instantly. She is very responsive. We did NOT need a thing, except to thank her. We all agree we will stay here again. There is no elevator so not good for someone who is handicapped or can't climb stairs.

We (six teachers) celebrated our friend's retirement with a vacation to SGI and Apalachicola. So that no one person would be held responsible for picking out a place to stay, we voted. One Charleston Place won by a landslide and everyone was delighted with the property.

The house is beautiful, it was like walking into a magazine layout! Each bedroom had a bathroom and there was a powder room on the main level--very convenient. The view is amazing! The kitchen appliances are high end and the cabinets have all the pots/pans/dishes/utensils you need to make a gourmet meal. (Bring your own sauces and condiments--only salt and pepper are available.)

I was worried about the location of OCP--at the end of the bridge, next door to a restaurant, center of the beach. These turned out to be positives. OCP is central to everything! Noise was never a factor. Shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance.

Lori responded quickly to any questions and concerns.

If that isn't enough... add beautiful sunrises, dolphins, shelling, crab chasing after dark, yoga on the deck, free parking, shared pool... paradise!

Perfect getaway

One Charleston Place is exactly as advertised! Beautifully renovated, simply and wonderfully decorated, comfortable for our family of four plus grandparents... Being right next to the Blue Parrot restaurant was convenient (great seafood!) and being in 'town' meant swinging over to the market was quick and easy. Perfect beach trip. We hope to return soon.

Wow! The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need!

I've been meaning to write this review but life has been crazy. That was the reason we rented this home in the first place. It is decorated beautifully, has everything you need to cook amazing meals, has killer ocean views. It is on the ocean with a pool right in front of the house. Not to mention that Lori is so easy to work with. She answered all of my questions and was warm and friendly. The house is close to everything but you are in your own little oasis. I can't say enough to convey how wonderful it was. If you are reading this review because you are looking for a home away from home then stop your search.....you have found it!
