The owners of this property wanted to be a part of the ongoing rejuvenation of Downtown Memphis, and purchased this property in 2007. It had been vacant for decades, but was located at what some would consider the best location in Downtown Memphis (Main and Union). The restoration has taken 8 years (thus far!).

Excellent location- very secure

We had a girls trip and had a wonderful time!! The condo is roomy and well decorated, beds are comfy! My only concern was the noise from the street and other parts of building. It is a loft so you will hear the world around you. I would definitely recommend this condo.

Fun times in a great location!

We chose this property because we wanted to be in the heart of downtown. It was a convenient walk to Beale Street and the property managers were very helpful. The apartment was clean and comfortable and artfully decorated. Perfect for a girls weekend!

Memphis is a great city! Good restaurants and food was delicious! Fun night life on Beale street!

Condo was in a great location next to a market and good restaurants not far from Beale Street. Condo itself was very clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable and furnishings nice. I loved the nice little extra touches of a Kuerig fully stocked with coffee and bottles of water in the refrigerator when we got there! Will definitely go back to stay.

Perfect place in Memphis

If you are planning a trip to Memphis, 59 So. Main is the perfect location. Many of the major tourist destinations are within easy walking distance of the front door. If walking is not your thing, you can catch the trolley from the stops which are also right outside the front door. Only Graceland, Stax Records, and perhaps Sun Studios would require a car. Free parking is only a half block away in a five level parking garage. A small grocery store is directly across the street and another (next door to a wine and liquor store) is a block and a half away. A long list of quality restaurants are also within easy walking distance. As for our unit itself, it was newly renovated, large, bright, immaculately clean, and fully stocked with all the amenities. Our wonderful hostess Lou Ann, was personable, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable of Memphis and the immediate area around downtown. If you are planning a vacation to Memphis, I would recommend 59 So. Main as your first choice. I really don't see how you could be disappointed.

Great unit and great hostess!

The apartment was comfortable, well-appointed and true to the photos. My family really enjoyed being able to view the street activity from the wide window ledges! A convenient market was just across the street. It was a very short walk to Beale Street, and we had most of our explorations on foot. Just a block from the Peabody's famous ducks, and right on the trolley line!

We enjoyed music, shopping at Cooper Young district, attending a minor league game (also short walk from unit), and exploring other Memphis venues, like Sun and Stax. Between studio tours, the Civil Rights Museum and great food offerings - it made for a delightful long weekend for us.

The unit itself was clean, comfortable, and private. I have already recommended it to others and, if life brings us to town again, we would certainly welcome the chance to return to this rental! Lou Ann made us feel VERY welcome and did a great job of orienting us to nearby options! Many thanks!

Perfect location, perfect unit, impeccable attention to detail!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The unit is amazing, with beautiful decor! it's in the midst of all the wonderful sounds and smells of downtown! We could hear amazing musicians at night and walked to fabulous dining all weekend!

The unit had every amenity you'd ever need and more! It's filled with great recommendations and all the information a visitor would need to truly enjoy Memphis!

We will return there every time we visit Memphis!

Main and Union. Welcome to the center of Downtown Memphis! From here, you can walk practically anywhere - Beale Street, the Fedex Forum, the Orpheum, the Pyramid, you name it! Just to the west over the bluff is the Mighty Mississippi river. Just down the hill to the east is the Peabody Hotel and the Rendezvous. Walk out of your front door onto the Main Street Mall. There is truly no better downtown address than where you have chosen to stay!

As you will see from the photos, this unit is a newly renovated 2bedroom, 2bath space in an historic building. It has coded elevator access and is very private considering it's location, which is right in the heart of Downtown Memphis.

Memphis is a city with a real soul. Anyone who has lived here for a period of time has felt it. Most who have have moved away will tell you that their new place of residence does not have it. Other cities may be larger, or have more history, but none have more soul! Enjoy your stay!
