Our holiday apartment comprises a double bedroom with balcony, a spacious gallery with 3 beds and a doll corner for the smallest guests. The apartment is suitable either for families or couples.

The cosy living /dining area with unhampered view of the mountains and the lake guarantees pleasant moments. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob and all utensils you may need. Additionally there is a fondue and raclette-set at your disposal for preparing a real Switzerland cheese fondue. The dishwasher is doing all the work afterwards. Toaster and kettle are available, too.

In the entrance area is a Nespresso coffee-maker for all guests.

Washing machine, laundry room, skiing and box room are available. Help yourself!

The garden sitting corner with additional deck chairs is a guarantor for relaxation and a great place to enjoy the sunset while having a glass of good wine and some food from the barbecue.

Skiing area Central Switzerland: The skiing area Hoch Ybrig is easily reachable by car within 15 minutes.

The whole area offers plenty of skiing areas, which meet the needs of either beginners or pros. You will also find plenty of children´s ski lifts and skiing schools there.

Why Cornelia Schönbächler chose Einsiedeln

The agricultural sector is changing also here in Switzerland. Thus, we constructed a building in 2009, which has a hall to store our machines on the ground floor and which can be used as an apartment and B&B on the upper floor. Regarding the location, it was always clear, that we place much importance on the view of lake and mountains. We really have succeeded in that! Zurich, Lucerne and central Switzerland can all be reached within the hour – and thus some of the loveliest places to see in Switzerland!

What makes this apartment unique

To spend your holidays on the countryside while still having the metropolis of Switzerland nearby has many advantages.

The family-friendly surrounding invites everybody to linger. Whether an excursion with children or with your couple - you´ll never get bored.

Wonderful place! Easy access to Rapperswill. Cornelia is an amazing hostes. Everything was just perfect! Highly recommend. Hope be back next year!

Ein grosses Lob an die Familie Schönbächler,super symphatisch,Frau Schönbächler ist eine tolle Gastgeberin,wir haben super Infos bekommen über die Gegend,die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön und sauber ausgerichtet,mit Allem,was man braucht und liegt an einem schönen See von wo aus man sehr schöne Wanderungen und Ausflüge machen kann und nicht mal weit fahren muss.

Wir haben die Ruhe dort sehr genossen und der Blick morgens auf den See in der Sonne,traumhaft.

Wir bekamen einen sehr leckeren Frühstückskorb und jeden Tag frische Milch,es hat uns super gefallen.

RESPEKT.

Die Wohnung ist unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Phantastisch

Eine ganz tolle und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Einzig das es keinen Backofen hat.

Toll ist der erste Frühstückskorb den man bekommt.

Und jeden Tag frische Milch sofern man möchte. Wir bedanken uns.

Schöne Wohnung, super-nette Familie, super Lage

We spent a fantastic week on the Schönbächler Farm in the vacation quarters. We are a family of six, including some tall people. However, there was ample space and the beds were big enough for all of us. Many winter sport apartments are just for spending the night and waking up early to go to the slopes. Not so here. The apartment was so ´gemütlich´ that we enjoyed spending some time there during the day as well, playing games and watching some winter Olympics.

The surroundings are quite astounding as well. We witnessed some magnificent sunsets over the Sihlsee and joined in some carnaval festivities in Einsiedeln, 5 km down the road. Einsiedeln is a great place to visit including the ´Kloster´ and great walking trails into the woods. Plenty of space to go sledding as well and the last few days the ski-lifts for the little ones were open as well.

From the vacation house to the main ski-areas Brunni -Alpthal and Hoch-Ybrig is no longer than a 20 minute drive by car. Brunni has some easier slopes and is smaller compared to Hoch Ybrig, where you have quite some more slopes and choices, including a large sledding trail with the possibility to go back up with the Chair Lift.

The best ski/snow-board -rental option you can find in Einsiedeln at Wisel Kälin Intersport opposite the train station. Quick service, plenty of choice and once they changed a binding we broke at no cost. So totally hassle-free.

All in all a great, cozy, modern, vacation house in a great location. Very calm and quiet environment, yet within half an hour drive to many options and attractions. Every day we received fresh milk from family Schönbächler at no extra cost. The last day it was very slippery around the house which was quickly taken care of by Mr. Schönbächler.
