Beautiful small house in Newburyport. Walk to town, waterfront and rail trail. Take a 5 minute drive and you arrive at Plum Island Beach, or take a 1 hour train ride to Boston. House has a open airy feel with a beautiful gourmet kitchen. House has 1 bedroom with queen bed and a loft with 2 twin beds. Great spot for a couple or a small family. The cottage was originally built in 1850 as a corner store and is loaded with charm .
Great little house. Great for friends or a couple. Wouldn't advise for small children - small section at top of stairs have no banister until you take a few steps down.
You're two blocks from a liquor store/pizzeria and a diner, and then a mile walk to downtown.
A cute cottage in Newburyport. A short walk into town and waterfront and a quick drive to local beaches. We enjoyed the cozy living space of this former corner store. The owners were friendly and very accommodating if we had questions or needed anything during our 4 week stay. The queen bed master sleeping area is up steep stairs into the attic space. There are also twin beds, and laundry, open to the master in a lofted area. Storage space for clothing is limited to a small chest of drawers. The owners did offer a free standing clothes rack if we needed. A charming fenced in courtyard provided nice outdoor space.
Cutest cottage ever! It was perfect for our mom's weekend & the 3 of us had more than enough room. It was clean & airy, fully stocked & close to everything, the beach- food- docks- shopping- etc.
We can't wait to come back next year!
Lovely transformation of a historic building into a vacation home. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoy cooking so the spacious and beautiful kitchen made it fun and easy. It was also great to have access to a gas grill in the back yard. The back yard is a charming fenced in area perfect for dining or relaxing. Easy walk to the river front and only a little further to all the shops downtown. Newburyport is a fun place to visit, and this house made our stay relaxed and enjoyable. We would definitely return.
We rented this wonderful little place for my son's wedding & we were happy & comfortable. We were met by a wonderful woman who showed us around & explained everything.. Easy walk downtown. Restaurant at end of Kent St has great sandwiches ! My elderly Mother did have trouble with the steps upstairs but was comfortable on couch. I highly recommend this beautifully decorated little home
We decided to rent this cottage for a night for a family girls weekend and it was just perfect! So much character, clean and unique. The kitchen island and back patio were our two favorite hang out locations where we could enjoy a cocktail and unwind. The gardens and landscaping were just beautiful. It is also an easy walk to downtown which we appreciated to avoid parking. The owners are extremely friendly and responsive and made our stay very easy. We would definitely stay again!
