Quiet, 1 Bedroom Apartment with Huge Private Garden, Chefs Kitchen
About Hannah Bradford
My husband and I are both in the fashion business; I am an executive and he is a designer. We travel to Asia on a regular basis, enjoy movies, music, and books, hiking, biking around town and working on our garden.
Hannah Bradford purchased this House in 2011
Why Hannah Bradford chose Williamsburg
Bought this 1910 wood frame house and did a gut renovation and tried to bring back as many original details as possible.
What makes this House unique
My favorite part of the house is the private garden, which is like an oasis in the middle of a busy city. For the guest experience, having a washer/dryer in the unit, TVs in all rooms, a well-stocked kitchen, and super comfortable bed are big plusses.

I live in the area, but needed a space to get ready in for my wedding. I can’t wait to see the pictures from my photographer. The space is incredible both inside and the garden outside!! Highly recommend!!
Hannah was a fantastic host. She answered imeediately all our questions and gave us excellent informations of restaurants. The apartement is lovely with a beautiful garden .The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. We appreciated so much that Hannah left eggs, milk, tea and coffe for us to use.
We really enjoyed our short stay at Hannah's. The property is beautiful and very clean, the check in/out process is seamless, Hannah was great about communication and as noted in a few reviews, there were some nice snacks left for us... all very greatly appreciated. Thank you, Hannah!
Great location, great apartment and an over the top garden/backyard area...
Beautiful apartment in a perfect location
Hannah’s place was the perfect home base for exploring Brooklyn. So many great spots within walking distance-we never got bored of exploring the area. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and perfectly outfitted with everything we needed. The backyard/patio was gorgeous and we hope to return in warmer weather!
I was very excited to book Hannah's place. I use VRBO exclusively because I've only had great experiences. This was one of the best places I've ever booked. It was clean, well supplied and perfect. I arrived on Friday night and woke up to a good amount of newly fallen snow on Saturday morning. Imagine my delight as I was able to prepare a cup of hot chocolate when I awoke and then proceed to prepare a delicious breakfast without leaving the apartment. Little touches like finding milk, eggs, butter, bread and chocolate all there really made my day. It's as good as it looks in the photos and even better in person. The bed was great. The backyard is truly amazing even with the snow. If you want to enjoy NYC as a local this is the place to stay. Thanks Hannah!
Williamsburg is the home of hipsterism – it’s where the cool kids hang out. Here, you’re never far from a craft beer or artisan coffee, and some of New York’s hottest restaurants line the once-dilapidated streets. The locals (an eclectic mix of young and increasingly affluent creative professionals) like to keep it casual, and know how to have a good time. The cheap rents that attracted the artist community in the 1990s are long gone, but there’s still a small-scale, independent feel in the time-worn market stalls selling vintage clothes and secondhand books. On top of all that, you’ve got killer views of the Manhattan skyline across the water, best enjoyed from a riverside park or rooftop cocktail bar. We should highlight that the L Train (that used to connect Williamsburg to Manhattan in lightning speed) will be closed from April 2019 for two years, though - in our opinion - this is no reason to dismiss this fab part of town. It will slow the journey down a bit, that's all, there are plenty of other subway, bus, ridesharing and ferry options. The L just happened to be the most direct way to get to Manhattan. The G, N, W and 7 trains are still running and there is new Ferry service from the Williamsburg waterfront as well as new express busses going over the Williamsburg bridge.
