Radcliffe Hideaway

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint little hideaway with a great gated side patio with plenty of room. from the front it looks like a garage and is really deceiving however it was really cozy, (Thanks for the wine). Even though Irma came through we were not in danger of the high water and Kevin had the place cleaned up the next morning. We love Charleston and have never stayed in the city this was perfect with easy access to everything Charleston has to offer. Ginny and Kevin were the perfect hosts. Thank you guys for an awesome stay and we will definitely be looking you up for next year. thanks for the bikes we used them a few times. Wow what a great week.

Long-Weekend Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Had such a great time staying at Ginny's place. It was such a great location, just a couple of blocks off of King Street, so we took advantage of it and walked around everywhere. The bikes that Ginny provided were so convenient and came in handy when we were going to brunch one morning. Thanks for such a great stay!

Perfect for our little getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We loved having "our place" to retreat to so close to everything on King street and all the historical sites. It was a short drive to other points of interest like Patriots Point, and a fun walk to the City Market and to the Battery. If we were more bike-confident, we would have loved having access to those too!

It's small, but clean, chic, and has everything you need. It has a very private feel even though you are so close to everything. The patio is a lovely spot to have coffee in the morning, wine in the evening, etc and a definite bonus to this location. The hosts are very helpful, though we didn't need much since everything was well explained and went smoothly! Thank you!

Good location, everything we needed.

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is located near enough to walk to all the historic spots. It was nice to see all the college kids returning to school in the area. Although we did not end up cooking as much as we thought we might, the kitchen looked well stocked with pots, pans etc. I liked the coffee maker and my husband enjoyed the bottle of wine! Ginny promptly responded to our communications which was appreciated.

Cozy garage apartment nestled in the heart of Charleston

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and had a wonderful stay. Ginny, the owner, was very responsive to all requests and made sure that we were well equipped for our stay, providing guidance on the local area. There was a nice bottle of white wine left for us which was the perfect touch to a romatic weekend. The apartment has a nice private courtyard, two beach cruiser bicycles, and was very comfortably furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back!

Great Location and Comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented this apartment for an 11 day stay in Charleston in order to see how we enjoyed "living" in the city. We like to walk, and the location is just a few blocks from King Street, and about a 15-20 minute walk to Market Street, the French Quarter, and the Waterfront Park. The rental includes one off-street parking space, so we left our car there and skipped the hassle of trying to find parking in the city center. On really hot days (it was July!) we took advantage of the free shuttle to get around the city.

The apartment itself is a converted garage, but the interior shows no sign of its original use. The galley kitchen was perfect for the 2 of us, and the bedroom and living room were comfortable and inviting. The bathroom also contained a washer/dryer combo, which came in very handy on an 11 day stay! The entire place was spotlessly clean, and the very efficient AC unit kept us comfortable when the outside temps were in the 90's.

The host, Ginny, met us on our arrival to show us around. There was a welcome bottle of wine, and a couple of beers and water bottles in the fridge to get us started. We enjoyed our morning coffee (Keurig machine and pods provided) and evening cocktails outside on the private brick sitting area.

We had a wonderful time, and highly recommend this location!
