About Lana Adzhigirey

I bought this cabin because of it's unique design and furnished it with attention to every detail. The midcentury modern style allows for a slice of modern in the midst of nature.

Why Lana Adzhigirey chose Arlington

This cabin sits on 6 acres of land with trails. Has an RV hookup. Talk about roaming in the nature during any season!! The trail was extended for your enjoyment - bring your rainboots - drop down the slide and go on a private trail. Watch for wild rabbits and the brilliantly blue bluejays.

What makes this cabin unique

This is one of a kind architecturally enticing cabin located in a secluded area near Arlington. There is a small lake nearby, many hikes and a large fire pit. An amazing place to get away to get in touch with nature. Close to Mount Baker national forest and ski resort.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Good time up there this weekend. Spent all day up on the service roads wheeling and shooting!

A nice, relaxing birthday weekend for me!

  • 5 of 5

We had a very lovely weekend at Lana’s tiny cabin! It was just enough space for the three of us + my dog. Kitchen was extremely well-equipped, especially considering the size, and the bed was very comfortable. Even though it rained most of the weekend we made good use of the charcoal grill, and also got to explore the woods some. Thank you for giving us a great place to get some peace and quiet away from the big city! :)

Nice getaway for couples with dogs

  • 4 of 5

This was such a cute and comfortable little house. Our dog loved roaming and exploring the property, and swimming at the lake. We always call it a success when the pup sleeps for days after a weekend trip. We had a brief scare when he jumped off the back deck after hearing something in the bushes, it's pretty high to jump off of, and he pulled a muscle or something and was limping for a few hours. Luckily he's young and recovered quickly. Would be nice if the railing was extended all the way around the deck though. We did a lot of cooking, and although the kitchen is tiny, it had everything we needed.

Clean and comfortable cabin with the peace we were looking for

  • 5 of 5

The owners have done a great job of adding creature comforts to an otherwise simple cabin. The home is away from other people making it quiet and peaceful most hours of the day. There were some voracious mosquitos in July but the owners thoughtfully provided bug spray and a citronella candle so we could still enjoy the deck in peace. The cabin is close to biking, hiking and canoeing too. All in all a really restful vacation - thank you!

Perfect weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying in Lana's wonderful mini cabin and we had such a great time! Lana keeps the cabin well supplied with everything we needed and more; we especially appreciated having the s'mores supplies! We spent the weekend relaxing in the sun on the large deck, walking to the nearby lake to take our dog swimming, and roasting hot dogs in the fire pit. The location is great and the cabin is lovely and well-furnished. We will be back!

Great weekend off the grid.

  • 4 of 5

Property was great but wish there was a flushing toilet and not just compost. Note that you'll need a discover pass for the lake to use the canoe. If it's warm weather, bring an extra fan with you.

Bed was comfortable and all other creature comforts were provided and appreciated. Loved the Netflix and wifi availability . No cell cell service

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review. Two small clarifications: 1. Verizon and Sprint users do have full phone service on the property. All other carriers in combination with wi-fi are able to text. 2. The toilet: compost toilets do contribute to a greener planet and help conserve water. I did invest in an upscale model to ensure that comfort is not compromised.
