About Frank Esposito

We've been vacationing in Schroon Lake for over 30 years. After the passing of our family patriarch, the family home on the east side of Schroon Lake was sold.

A few years passed and we missed visiting the Adirondacks, so our search for the perfect family vacation home began.

Our quest for the right house seemed endless, but we finally found the vacation home of our dreams. The house was built in 1830 and is one of the oldest houses in Schroon Lake. Many rumors surround our house, mainly told to us by local residents. We and the Historical Society are researching those rumors, one of which is that the house was part of the Underground Railroad. The Society has been in contact with an expert researcher and we have offered full access to the house in order to give him the opportunity to determine its place in History. We're anxious find learn the results of his research. A well known fact is that Together at Schroon Lake was an original part of the Schroon Lake Camp ( for Boys), which was founded by Rabbi Issac Moses in 1906. Our house is one of only a handful of homes that has access to a "Secret" tunnel, which crosses below Route 9 and gives access to our association beach. We love sharing the history of the home when our guests arrive. If you reserve our home, we will give you a tour and tell some of the stories related to the house .

A wonderful Adirondack Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for a weekend ski trip with friends. The house is absolutely stunning and not too far from Gore Mountain. The homeowner provided information on different activities that the little town has to offer if your not a skier or snowboarder. We had an amazing time and will be back.

Owner's Response: Thank you Courtney, for your positive feedback. We're glad you all had a great time and we would welcome you back. We try to give our guests as much information about our beautiful little town so they can make the best use of their time here. There is just so much to do and so little time. We're glad you consider our house stunning. We think it's beautiful also, and a very special place. We look forward to seeing you this Summer.

Women together for 1/2 marathon

  • 5 of 5

Rented the house for 1/2 marathon. There were 9 women, and we had a fabulous time. The beds and bathrooms were top notch. Everything about the house was top notch. Had one question about tv and Frank was available immediately for help. There were only pleasant surprises.

Beautiful, charming, spacious & well-appointed home, close to so much

  • 5 of 5

This house was clean, beautiful and full of personality. It was well laid out, and spacious, with many nooks to accommodate all the activities of our multi-generational family vacation-- comfortable dinner around a big table inside or on closed-in porch, quiet reading, jigsaw puzzles, The Office binging, raucous board games. The kitchen and outdoor grill had all the equipment we needed for substantial cooking. Frank was a great, attentive & responsive host. The shared lakefront beach was great. Nearby, the public/town beach was nice, the center of town was charming (e.g., Pitkins restaurant was a delicious surprise), and the marina had pontoon boat rentals in great condition. There were plenty of hikes and sites to visit within 1-2 hours drive, but we only managed to fit in one in Ausable Chasm. Our entire family--from youngest to oldest-- really enjoyed our first visit to Schroon Lake.

Owner's Response: Thank you Ann for your wonderful review. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. We're glad you enjoyed all that Schroon Lake has to offer. Our goal when we designed Together at Schroon Lake was was to transform a house which built in 1830, into a comfortable family retreat with character and charm from bygone days. Based on your review it sounds like we hit the mark. We look forward to your next trip to Schroon Lake. Good luck and good health to all of you. Frank and Ronnie

Lovely, large home in the Adirondacks in Schroon Lake

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful mini-family reunion with our daughters and their families. The accommodations were spacious and exceptionally clean. Our grandchildren spent most of their time touring the area and at the beach swimming, canoeing and kayaking. (The beach was just a short walk from the house.) The house itself was appointed beautifully with all new, top-of the line appliances. It was quite warm and humid while we were there, so the room air conditioners were a welcome relief from the heat. The owners are super and bent over backwards to cater to our needs. We will be back.

A Wonderful Week with Great Friends!

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely home! Seven college alumni celebrated 46 years of friendship at this Schroon Lake home. We found this house to be very spacious, welcoming, and extremely clean. Frank and Ronnie were there to welcome us upon our arrival to show us around and explain how everything works. The bedrooms were well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. The two sitting rooms, along with the two outside living areas, were very comfortable and provided enough space for us to meet together or to get-away alone. Loving to sit around and chat, we really enjoyed the spacious dining table and comfortable chairs. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare, cook, and serve our meals. The house is well situated being close to the lake as well as attractions such as Lake George, the outlets, and Fort Ticonderoga. This was a great week long vacation! We will consider returning to Together at Schroon Lake when we visit the Adirondacks again. Thank you to Frank and Ronnie for a memorable vacation week.

Location

The Town of Schroon Lake is vibrant all year long. A serene nine mile lake where guests come to enjoy nature, swimming boating etc. in the Summer, the Schroon Lake Marathon in Fall, as well as leaf peeping, and skiing and ice fishing in the Winter. Residents here are friendly and helpful. Local restaurants are open all year. Skiing at Gore Mountain (30 min) or Whiteface (60 min) in winter. 90 minutes to Lake Placid, 2.5 hrs to Montreal. Outlet shopping at Lake George is just 35 min south, as well.
