Beautiful and private getaway in the Adelaide Hills
Beautiful cottage, lovely fireplace (combustion oven), beautifully appointed and very private. We'll be back :)
Amazing property...scenery was second to none, location excellent, home well equipped and extremely comfortable..Vicki was lovely
Thank you so much Kristoffer for such a lovely review of The Other House and I'm really happy that you both enjoyed your weekend.
A great escape to the hills!
This quiet retreat is even better than the photos. The views are amazing and the peaceful surroundings make it hard to believe you are only about 40 minutes from Adelaide airport. Beds are very comfy (beautiful bed linen) and there were great places to sit and relax both inside and out. Thanks to Vicki (host) for providing some essentials which meant we had more than enough for breakfast on both mornings. A great place to explore nearby towns as well as pick up some local fresh fruit (the raspberries down the road were sensational!)
Thanks Louise for taking the time to review The Other House. It was lovely to meet you and we're really happy that you loved the house and enjoyed your stay in the hills.
The house is within minutes of the beautiful Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens, Mt Lofty and close to Cleland wildlife Park where you can get up close with native animals.
Wineries and cellar doors of the Adelaide Hills are a short drive away and there are abundant walking trails, mountain bike areas and road bike challenges all within a few kilometres.
