Soco modern home
Really great house that is well taken care of. We had our family there and the house allows multiple activities in different rooms with great noise and space coverage. The only two drawbacks for us is that we stayed in summer and the house doesn't have air conditioning vents in the bedrooms so you can either leave your door open or be hot. The rest of the house is cool, but the bedrooms need more than just fans in the Texas summer. The other drawback for us is that they DO have a tv, but they do not have any cable or access to basic channels. They have a Google smart system, but I could not get anything to work on it from logging into the apps with my log in info and the screen mirror option would not work on the tv. I am not out of touch with tech yet and this was a nightmare to figure out. If your ad says tv, it should be easy to use and have the basics. For folks who don't care about this, it is not an issue, however we were looking specifically for a tv for a member of our family and were disappointed. It should be included in cost to have basic cable if you advertise tv. Other than that, it is a fantastic location, beautiful home and the beds were REALLY comfortable!
Very nice, child friendly, well organized!
Easy communication. We had a fun time! I can recommend this for families.
We LOVED this home for our weekend in Austin. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. Also, great location! One night took a long walk to South Congress. Drove the other times, but it was a quick 5 min drive to everything we wanted to do.
Girls Weekend in Austin
The house was clean and as pictured in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was a little far for walking everywhere, but not an issue. Only issue we had was delayed hot water in one of the showers, but it seemed to resolve itself after a few hours. We enjoyed our stay and it was easy!
Fun and clean retreat
We enjoyed the awesome local of this home. The grocery store was super convenient and all the restaurants on south Congress were great. The home was well equipped to entertain our toddler which was such a treat. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Economic alternative to a nice hotel
We have stayed here on two different occasions when in Austin for business. It is a short Uber ride to the Capital. A nice neighborhood with a grocery and plenty of restaurants nearby. The house is very clean and nicely furnished. Only comments are that the kitchen table is not large enough for 8 guests to eat together, there are no consumable / disposable kitchen staples such as k-cups, foil or baggies, and they only provide one bath towel and no washcloths for each guest. I understand this is because they want guests to recycle, conserve water, and reduce waste, but it can be inconvenient if you are expecting those items. Overall, we like this property and would stay again.
