Guestbook comments from the owner

What a perfect place to stay. My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon, and it was perfect for everything we wanted to do in Rome. The neighborhood is filled with wonderful restaurants and shopping and is a few blocks from the coliseum and all the sightseeing we wanted to do. Our host was helpful and accommodating to our arrival. A great experience. To let us live like a local for a few days in Rome.

Huge apartment in the heart of Rome!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had all of the required amenities for a long stay in Rome. I would definitely stay here again!

For some reason, the internet was slow/buggy while we were there (it might be time to have the internet company come check it out) but we weren't there to use the internet.

Beautiful apartment!

  • 5 of 5

It was a perfect spot for us to stay. We could walk to see many of the sites and appreciated the extra space for clothes and living room. The managers were really easy to work with and responsive and helped coordinate transportation for us as well

It's simply perfect for small family!!

  • 5 of 5

It took a bit long to write up, as we were busy catching up.My husband, daughter and I stayed in this little gem of a place last week of October

This is a lovely property that stands out from many we looked at. Well placed close to a train station, buses and tram to wiz you to any part of Rome. However pretty much walk able.

The outdoor space cozy and really nice, though facing internal. The apartment has everything you need and some very attractive Paintings.Well received , was very helpful with our questions and provided recommendations. Walk able to Colosseum and nice restaurants around after a tiring long day walk.

If you want to get away from traffic noise (the Romans love to use their horns) and bustle the cozy apartment is ideal.

Charming Location in the Hearth of Rome

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in the middle of the historic city, 10 minutes by feet to Colosseo, 5 min. to Quirinale, surrounded by trendy bars and restaurants, but never the less calm and peaceful. Very tasteful equipement, perfect for two to four visitors. We loved the L’Antico Forno ai Serpenti for breakfast, don't miss it!

Everything could be nice if the customer service hadn`t insisted to receive a signed credit card with the complete details incl. CVC by arrival at the flat otherwise they wouldn't allow us (a couple of 50+) to stay in a flat we have already paid for. They weren't willing to get a certain amount as guarantee so we had to give them the complete information. How sad!

Owner's Response: Thank you for reviewing your stay. Please remember that before you booked you were advised that instead of collecting the security deposit of 200,00€ via HomeAway (which means you would have had the 200,00€ held against your card from the moment you booked until about a week after check-out) our terms and conditions state that the security deposit would be in the form of a credit card authorization at check-in. Your age has nothing to do with the fact that we must protect our 1,2M€ investment and your pre-paid rent doesn't cover potential damages. Our check-in staff was simply following the rules that you agreed to before coming. It would be strange that an owner wouldn't collect a damage deposit.

Great location!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights after travelling through Italy. This apartment was perfect. It is spacious and a breath of fresh air after being in hotels. The balcony which faces into the central courtyard was also a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Rome. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. We walked everywhere!! Vatican was approx an hour walk (we meandered our way there appreciating the parks and views along the way). Many options for small grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby. Everything was very clean. Keep in mind there is no lift (apartment is on the 3rd floor). Very safe area. Would definitely stay here again. The representative was waiting for us at the designated time and set us up with a map and suggestions on where to go and where to eat. Very professional and kind. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and feels even better when you are there!
