I am a realtor and a horticulturalist. I have been a landlord since 1994. I love creating environments, however small, that are comfortable and relaxing. I grew up in Phoenix but fell in love with Tucson when I moved here to go to UA in the 70's. I live about 6 blocks from the guesthouse.
Owner/Manager purchased this Cottage in 2003

We really enjoyed staying at the Adobe Guest House! It was small, but adorable and cozy. Elizabeth was a great host- she met us to let us in and show us around and she was super easy to get in touch with. She was also flexible about our check-in time. We would definitely stay here again!
Cozy place for 2
Clean little home in quite neighborhood.
Good location and large enough for two people
The laundry building outside worked well for us. Comfortable bed but not the sofa which was too soft. Lots of extras in the kitchen.
Sparkling clean. The little courtyard was great for our dog. Super responsive and friendly owner.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is small, but has everything a couple could need. Comfy bed in a cozy bedroom great heating and cooling (although we didn’t need the AC in December). Cute and very clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends/family..
Needed to take a quick getaway for the new year, and the Waverly guest house had all the amenities, at a great value. The place is clean, the bed is comfortable, the kitchen had all the utensils and dishware, and I didn't have to go to the supermarket to pick up a missing utensil or knickknack to cook my meals. Overall this place is solid, great for one or two guests.
Convenient and Clean Location
This rental is clean and very convenient to all things in and around Tucson. It is appropriate for two people but not more than that- the area is very small. Some things are in need of updating- in particular, the couch and bed/bed frame, pillows and shower head need to be replaced. Otherwise, the kitchen is fully functional and well stocked and there is an area outside to sit and relax.
The guest house is centrally located just blocks from the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Center. Nearby on Campbell Avenue (1/2 mile east) are many wonderful local restaurants (Mexican, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indian, Greek and more). It is not far from The Loft Cinema, our local art theatre, Two blocks from Santa Rita Springs Watsu Massage. It is about 2 miles from 4th Avenue (used bookstores, bars, restaurants) and downtown. On 2nd Saturdays downtown is bursting with activity. The modern street car is about 8 blocks away and can take you there. You can also rent bicycles at a kiosk 3 blocks away
