It is our hope that you too can create wonderful vacation memories.
Kathleen Bowler purchased this Townhome in 1996

We loved everything about this beautiful home! Clean, comfortable with all the modern conveniences throughout.
Brand new excellent appliances in a very well stocked kitchen. Less than 10 min walk to Main Street in town and all the great shops & restaurants.
Beds were super comfy, easy access to ground level basement so we could roll our bikes into the very clean and spacious laundry room,
It was easy to prepare and provide for this group because of pre-visit communication and questions. They had their plans, and I was glad to see their
Ironman competition go smoothly.
Very clean, well stocked with cooking gear, etc. and convenient location. The host was great and very communicative. I would recommend.
We enjoy suggesting alternative activities when guests have extended stays.
There is always something to do in the Adirondacks.
Very clean, great location! Would definitely stay here again.
Great location, Parking, Foosball
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The owner was communicative, ahead of our stay, so we knew everything we needed to know when we arrived.
My wife kept commenting on how clean it was. Everything we needed, to make meals, was there for us. The place held our five adults and three kids fairly comfortably - it's probably better for seven people, but we made it work.
The kids loved the foosball table downstairs. With the door closed, we couldn't hear the noise on the top floor, which was a bonus.
Heat was good. Parking was good. It was a short drive into town and not a bad drive to Whiteface, either.
For about the same price as a hotel, this was a great solution for our family meet-up.
I would stay there again.
Our location is optimum in any season. We are happy it provides easy access to fun activities.
Our groups of 8 are usually 4 adult couples, or families with children.
You can have a comfortable place without the expense of a hotel, and relax for meals in your vacation home.
Great house. Everything you could need, and great location.
The house was perfect. A nice three bedroom with a great location. Had a great stay.
We try to anticipate what our guests need at the townhouse through our pre-visit communication.
We list many options for activities, you can also ask for suggestions the locals enjoy..
Great place in Lake Placid
We were very impressed with this property. The pictures reflects how nice the property and accommodations are. The kitchen was well equipped and had all that we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. We look forward to returning in the future. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property. The owner Kathy was very accommodating!
We love to share the beauty of Lake Placid and the surrounding Adirondacks with visitors. Years of being guests at vacation rentals has taught us how to provide a clean, well outfitted townhouse that meets the needs of couples as well as families.
Pine Bough @ 32 is in the popular Pine Hill Townhouse community. Favored by Ironman, Horse Show and special event participants, it offers privacy with proximity. Skiers have Whiteface Mountain 15 minutes away, and downtown Lake Placid 5 minutes out the door. The prestigious Lake Placid and New York State Horse Shows are less than 10 minutes east on route 73 across from the Olympic Ski Jumping complex. (Just one of the Olympic venues you can visit, summer or winter.)
The 46 High Peaks are easy access through South Meadow at "Adirondack Loj" another 10 minutes past the Ski Jumps. Don't miss the easy hike from the parking lot ($10 fee to maintain facilities). It is a flat trail around famous Heart Lake, home of the original "Adirondack Lodge" built by Henry Van Hoevenberg and lost in a forest fire in 1903. Later purchased and built on by Melvil Dewey, (proponent of "simplified spelling") it was named "Adirondack Loj" and remains so today.
The Lake Placid Marina, sitting at one end of the lake with Whiteface Mountain towering at the far distant end, is ideal for renting a boat or a slip for your own craft. Rentals of non motorized water craft are an easy process from outfitters on Mirror Lake nestled in the village.
Antiquing, leaf peeping, or just a quiet get away are accented by the varied dining experiences offered in Lake Placid. Bring the family to a fun pizza place, or wander into a small restaurant where the owner/chef is in demand at area Great Camps when they entertain. Excellent meals can be found in any price range with two favorite restaurants at the entrance to the Pine Hill complex, where you can also find a stop for the free village shuttle bus service.
The Lake Placid Center for the Arts offers a Film Festival, the LP Symphony series, musicals, plays, dance companies, concerts and comedians. There is entertainment every weekend with rotating art shows.
Antique car shows, Skating shows, and curling. World class events, Farmers' Markets and BBQ Festivals. Pond Hockey, a Toboggan run and a plowed path to skate when Mirror Lake is frozen.
Clean air and water, night skies bright with stars, mountain peaks, lakes and streams.
Come stay at new, clean, and comfortable Pine Bough @32, the perfect "home" while you explore Lake Placid and the surrounding area.
