Nice place to stay
The only problem is third floor without elevator.
Amazing view, comfortable unit, and super convenient for visiting the beach!
Wow! What a lovely property. The grounds were immaculate and the landscaping made us feel like we were in a tropical paradise. The pool and hot tub were awesome for when we didn’t want to take the super short walk across the street to the beach. We loved that the kitchen was well appointed and had a view of the beach. You can’t beat a brand new grill, either! Yes, there are stairs, but it’s not a big deal, especially when you have such a stupendous view. Overall, we thought this unit had everything we wanted and was a great value to boot. Thanks!!!
Awesome condo and location, as long as you don't mind stairs
We had a wonderful stay here. The unit was very nice -- well-appointed kitchen (we cooked each night), pleasant decor, outdoor dining table, comfortable beds, very clean. etc. It has an awesome view of the Kahalu'u Beach Park right across the street, and while eating lunch on the balcony I was even able to get a glimpse of my daughter riding a wave during her surf lessons. The spa and pool are nice and clean, and the management company was very responsive to the one minor issue we encountered (getting a 2nd pool-access key). I think the price was reasonable for the quality of the accommodations.
The only negatives that I would point out were minor for us, but might be major for other people:
- The unit is on the 3rd floor and is accessed by stairs only (no elevator), and there is a flight of stairs down from the parking lot to the building as well, so arrival and departure involves a somewhat unusual amount of stair-climbing. This was not a big deal for us because we had read all the reviews before booking including another one that mentioned the stairs, but the owner's description of the property really ought to make this clear because it is outside the normal range of expectation for a vacation property.
- There is road noise at night from cars driving on Ali'i Drive. Not horrible by any means, but enough to have us keep the window of the master bedroom closed at night instead of leaving it open to get a fresh breeze. (There is AC in the unit, so the temperature was just fine.)
Outstanding location, views, all the comforts of home.
Stayed for a full week. Came with family and children. Very nicely decorated, all the necessities one would need or want; washer, dryer, full kitchen, BEAUTIFUL VIEWS of the sunrises and sunsets. Pool with nice BBQ. Who could ask for more.
Great Location !!
We had a amazing time in Hawaii and this condo was a part of it. This condo is in a great location, has a wonderful view of the ocean, palm trees, beach. It's in front of the Kahulu Beach park where you can do snorkeling and surf. The condo comes with an access to a pool, a spa that are always well located. Ali'i Drive street separate the condo from the beach and you can hear the cars since it's a busy street, but you forget it really fast hearing the birds singing every morning.
During our stay, we experienced a problem with the refrigerator that wasn't working. We contacted the administration and got a response really fast. They offered us to move us to other locations. We choose to stay and they gave a cooler with ice and discount on our stay. Everything was done fast so we could have a good time during our vacation.
The bed was comfortable and the everything was clean. Showers were working fine as the appliances. Just make sure to read the rules in the binder once you arrive.
We had great time and a great welcome,
We definitely recommended it to everyone.
The condo was perfectly located on the island, loved that it was right next to children’s beach for snorkeling. Well appointed and very comfortable! We’re already talking about a return trip.
Aloha Leslie, Thank you for staying with us! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay on the Big Island. We can't wait to see you again! Please don't hesitate to contact us for any future bookings. Mahalo!
