Why Carlos chose Historic District
Perfect for a large family, multiple families or a large group of friends. Tucked into Breckenridge's historic district and only 2 blocks from Main Street so you can walk to almost everything that Breckenridge has to offer.
What makes this House unique
The house has been renovated to incorporate modern comforts whilst retaining the charm of the original, historic, Victorian house.

We rented Abbett Placer home for just three nights in the summer. We had three families with 13 people total - 17+ years of age. The accommodations were great with plenty of private bathrooms attached to most all bedrooms. Although it is a historic property built in 1890s the kitchen has been upgraded to a chefs kitchen with most all cookware and utensils any chef would need. We enjoyed the back deck and played games with the family for hours! Downtown proximity was perfect with a very short walk to all of the shops, restaurants and activities. Easy access in and out. Very responsive manager. Truly a great place to rent!
Great big house in Breck
This old historic house was so spacious but cozy for all. Our family had a fantastic time. Carlos, the manager was so helpful and communicated so quickly. Thanks
Plenty of room, house was clean and equipped with all kitchen needs.
We had 3 family’s and we had plenty of room and privacy. No complaints
Large group of men making annual ski trip. House fit our needs perfectly.
We were a group of 8 men on an annual ski trip and each wanted our own bed. At first glance the house seemed a bit confusing. There are three distinct sections for bedrooms, with each section having two bedrooms plus additional beds in the basement. Each section also has at least one bathroom, with several rooms having a private bath. The result is that the bedrooms are both private and quiet, which made for a good nights sleep. The kitchen is large with a huge professional grade stove/oven adjacent to a large dining area, which we put to good use on several occasions. The ski storage is convenient and large enough to handle any equipment you bring along.
Carlos, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and helpful. He was quick to respond to our questions and had everything ready just as we requested.
The only “negative “ things I could point out are the lack of a gas grill and the low ceiling in a couple of areas. Neither of these caused much of an issue as we were able to cook our steaks for our farewell dinner on the massive stove, but we did bump our heads as we climbed the stairs once or twice until we learned to duck 😁. Some may not like the small bathrooms, but this was not an issue for us.
The location is perfect. It sits on the blue route, minutes from the gondola, with a bus stopping about 30 yards from the front door. Main Street is two blocks away, with plenty of food, drink and music nearby. The distance is easy to walk and far enough away to avoid the noise.
I would absolutely recommend this place for a large group, particularly multi family groups looking for a bit of privacy from time to time.
Interesting house in a good location
Interior was quite interesting. You might think you've been cheated out of a bedroom or two, but if you keep looking, you'll eventually find them. Very good for large groups. Plenty of room for a dozen of us. If stairs are a problem, you might look elsewhere. Close to downtown and restaurants. Two bus stops nearby. Note that after 5 pm the buses become much more scarce so use them early if you can. Probably 10-20 minute bus ride to the lifts depending on timing. Kitchen might be a little small for a huge meal but we managed. Hot tub was on the back porch. Only big enough for 4 adults. Storage room was great to store skis.
