Perfect ski chalet

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time just before Christmas at this excellent chalet. It's very straightforward to find, and made for an excellent base for the week. Absolutely gorgeous house with views in all directions. It's not a far drive to the main resort, but why drive when you can ski out? Renting this house gives you access to the neighboring clubhouse -- maybe a 30 yard walk. The clubhouse has free drinks in the evening, a heated pool/hot tub, a games room, lockers for ski gear, and showers. One of the biggest unexpected perks.

Evonne was very easy to deal with, and there was more snow than we had expected at that time of year. Stay here!

Wonderful family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. It is not only beautiful but cozy and comfortable. We appreciated the many creature comforts including comfortable beds, nice linens, beautiful kitchen, and hot tub. The lodge and it's friendly staff were amazing, always attentive offering to help carry our ski's, give advise about the mountain or to offer a drink from the bar. Use of the ski lockers and the ski in ski out access made for a very enjoyable time on the mountain. The views from the house and lodge were gorgeous. Can't wait to go back!

Quality Big Sky Experience

  • 5 of 5

I am from Bozeman and spend considerable time at Big Sky. My family was coming in for a Christmas visit and we decided to splurge and get a place on the hill. 5 kids and 5 adults. The house consumed everyone easily and comfortably. The house is in a development called Cascade Ridge. It is a little off the hill, but is served by access lifts and runs so it is easy to get to and from the hill. Further, the house is VERY close to the Cascade Ridge Lodge which is a private lodge to serve the small number of homes in the development. The lodge was spectacular and the service was the same.

The views from the house are epic.

The house is FULLY equipped. You won't need to bring anything but your clothes and ski wax. The management service was professional. Would stay there again and would recommend.

A great property for a vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the property for four nights. It was beautiful and cozy, offered a ton of comfort and everything we needed for a vacation. It's a great place for skiing due to its close proximity to the resort and the ski in/out lifts. It offered large, plush comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. The large 7-people hot tub was awesome too! All in all a wonderful property that will not leave you disappointed!

fantastic Big Sky Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Big Sky offered a variety of activities, but the views and luxurious home made it hard to leave the house. The gourmet kitchen was equipped with every amenity imaginable, and made preparing meals and sitting on the great deck a delight. The bedrooms were all tastefully decorated, king beds with plenty of space for luggage, etc. The hot tub made a great retreat while watching the stars and just soaking up the mountain air. The magnificent exposed Log beams and variety of special wood construction products used were all really impressive.

The short walk to the Clubhouse brought us to the outdoor/indoor pool and well equipped workout room. We enjoyed longer walks around the surrounding properties and being outdoors, so did not focus on the clubhouse activities.

Absolutely great choice and already trying to settle on dates for next summer.

Best stay in Big Sky

  • 5 of 5

This was the best stay I've had yet in the Big Sky area. A group of friends and I stayed in the property over a long weekend in August 2015. Below are some impressions:

The house is gorgeous. The high ceilings and floor plan make it feel enormous, and the whole place is kitted out luxuriously. The listing here of three bedrooms seems a little conservative – we were definitely able to spread out over beds in at least four rooms. Large, full bathrooms so no bottlenecks in the mornings. We were there in the summer, so the grill on the balcony was key, but the new fittings and appliances (including gas stove) in the kitchen will make that a good alternative in the winter. The house is built literally at the top of one of the highest peaks in Big Sky, affording great views from three of the bedrooms and the two living rooms, but which are most enjoyed from the hot tub.

Staying at this property allowed us access to the neighbourhood's clubhouse, which was a hit for everyone, but most especially the kids in our group. It's about 50 feet away from the house. There's a small indoor/outdoor pool, a hot tub, a games room with a pool table and table shuffleboard, and lots of nooks and crannies to play chess and other board games. It was hard to get the kids to go walking or even to dinner when they got settled in. Not that the adults didn't enjoy the place, too. The free drinks may have played a little role in that... We were there in the summer, but I can imagine the place absolutely starring in the winter. There's a ski run that begins right at the clubhouse and evidently takes you straight to the base of the resort, and a lift that brings you right back. Store your skis in the provided locker, and you've got true ski-in/ski-out.

Area: I won't comment on Big Sky generally, as I assume most people looking at this property are familiar with the resort and town. This house is about a 7 minute drive from the base of the resort (probably not much longer to ski straight there!) It's a couple minutes away by car from the beginning of Beehive Basin, which remains to me one of the prettiest spots in the whole area. It's a moderately difficult hiking trail in the summer and (though I haven't done it) probably a strenuous snow shoe route in the winter.

Agent: We arranged our stay with a very helpful lady named Evonne, who seemed very responsive – though to be honest we didn't have any issues, so we didn't get to test that a lot.

Amazing stay.
