It's a spacious 2 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom Condo located on the 2nd floor of a two floor building. It is bright and gets lots of natural sunlight with partial ocean views from the deck. A 2min walk along the natural pathway and you are at the beach!
Since the condo is on an island that is a natural preserve, the cable, wifi (located in clubhouse), and phone service may be spotty at times.
Although this is a rental home, pls treat it as you would your own home. With the high turnover rate and the fact that almost every night has been booked for the last 6m there is some wear and tear that will be addressed during the low season. Pls be respectful of the property to minimize any damage.

Harbor Island is a two and a half square mile residential community in the South Carolina’s Lowcountry. It is 14 miles east of the picturesque coastal town of Beaufort and within an 1.5hr drive of the historic cities of Hilton Head, Savannah, and Charleston. It is a community located on an island blessed with great natural beauty. It is the only beach community in South Carolina where as soon as you walk out your door and you are in the midst of a natural setting.
There is parking directly in front of condo. Boats under 19ft are allowed for additional fee paid at that gate. The boardwalk directly behind the condo leads you directly to the beach (2min walk). Note there are other boardwalks, but you don't have to walk into the development to find beach access.
Other Things to Note
While Harbor Island is a prime spot for nature lovers, the 2-½ miles of pristine beach and the swimming pools, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts offer opportunities for traditional activities. Water sports of all kinds are available. Fishing off the beach and crabbing in the tidal creeks or from the crabbing dock are very popular.

My aunt owns this condo but does not get to go as much as she used to as it is a 14hr drive for her. I rent this out to help her cover a portion of the monthly expenses she incurs with this property.
It is a beautiful and unique locations with gorgeous ocean views and an abundance of wild life. It is a quiet and remote getaway on a relatively secluded beach.
We really enjoyed our experience here... love the area so much and the condo is a great deal for what you experience. We will be back.
I have stayed in a few of the condos on harbor island this one was a little dated but that's ok the main problem I had was who ever cleaned the condo didn't. The towels were left in the dryer, the coffee pot was dirty with grounds still in it, the pots and pans looked like they were put up right after cooking. Plates and bowls were dirty. Not a great to find. The floors were dirty. Not happy with our stay.
Our family stayed at the property over the summer. We have two children ages 9 and 4. The condo was perfect for us. It's is exactly as it appears in the pictures except brighter and larger. It is within walking distance to a secluded beach. There is a very nice community pool that has a beautiful marsh view. This is a very quiet island about 15 minutes from Beaufort. If you are looking for some quality time this is a wonderful place to find it.
My husband and I stayed in this condo for our first trip to Harbor Island. We enjoyed our first trip to Harbor Island! What a peaceful setting, and this condo has a stellar view. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck in the mornings, then hit Hunting Island and spend afternoons on the beach. It was an unexpected Surprise the great view of the ocean, photos don't do it justice... and also the view of Hunting Island. The view from the living room and the Master Bedroom were breathtaking. We had a very relaxing getaway, and hope to return soon!
The view of the marsh was fantastic and beach access was simple. Maintenance of the property was not good. Cracked floor tiles and sinks, cabinets that didn't close, nails sticking out of the porch, and the counter coming apart in the kitchen were less than desirable. Many electrical outlets did not work and the light for the stairs did not work requiring other lights to be left on through the night to transit the stairs. Previous guests had left lists of discrepancies that were still in the apartment but nothing had been corrected upon our arrival.
The listing describes that the unit contains a washer and dryer but only after putting money down on the unit did the owner reveal there was an additional charge for their use.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay despite the many things in disrepair but repairs either need to be made or the unit listed as "older unit with much wear and tear." I would not stay again at the same price but would love to stay if the unit were brought up to speed.
It's an old property in a good location.
The property was tired beyond expectation even for a casual beach condo, and even based on the online photos. The two stars are only for the marsh view with the ocean beyond that was wonderful.
We enjoyed our stay! Your condo was comfortable, we had everything we needed. The view was beautiful, short walk to the beach, which was very private. Enjoyed the pool and had a good workout in the gym. Especially liked the peace and quiet atmosphere. Thanks again, Tom Hammons
