I am a commercial lender by trade, however, I have found out I enjoy property management. My wife of 23 years and our children have lived in Spokane for over 13 years and we give back to our local community through various civic and church groups.

I used to travel a good deal as commercial lender and I used to try and stay at lodging facilities such as this one. When we had the opportunity to buy this property we were very excited.
Close to all downtown events, Historical Victorian property.
first negatives: received multiple emails from VRBO to install app, which I didn't, so I never received the correct address of the rental then showed up at the only address I'd ever seen (in the manager's contact info emails) at 15 past midnight which turned out to be the wrong place then had a very confusing conversation with the on site manager that came down to the fact that we were in the wrong place :( Arrived at rental and pic provided for this rental is not the actual rental (similar but not the same). lots of street noise, hard to sleep without earplugs or pillow over head. Loud constant clicking noise from something in the closet. Upstairs flooring so thin I thought the people up there might come through.
Now positives: place was pretty clean, water was hot for showers, great location, in unit laundry, full size refigerator and stove/oven. Bedroom with carpet has tv and no street noises or loud clicking noises
This is a great little apartment unit. We were a group of 3 adults and had plenty of space for all of us. The washer & dryer in the unit was a nice little bonus that I didn't plan on taking advantage of but we did. The master bed was very comfortable (I don't know what the other adult thought of the bunk bed). I was a little concerned about the traffic noise but that was not a problem. The location was great for us. Lisa was very kind and helpful before we even got to town and solved our little tv problem we had the first night. We spent our days out and about town and this was a nice location to come "home" to each night. This is a clean, comfortable, & well maintained location.
My apologies for the lengthy review...I write this with a chip on my shoulder based on the process of how our booking was handled. I specifically searched for a unit in the downtown area as we were travelling to Spokane for March Madness and the convenience factor of being able to walk to the arena was something we wanted. I booked online, and received a confirmation e-mail which specifically stated 5 adults, in a unit that had a queen bed, bunk beds (the bottom bunk being a double) and a sofa. About a month prior to our travel date we received an e-mail stating that due to a glitch in the company's system, our booking had to be relocated to a different area as the unit was no longer available as it was more suited for 2 adults and 3 children and not 5 adults. You can imagine my frustration at this point being a month out from our travel date. We were relocated to a location that was no longer walking distance to the arena but was instead, a 15 minute drive. After numerous e-mails back and forth I had no choice but to take the unit that they offered me. I had tried to find other accommodations closer to the downtown area but was unsuccessful as everything had been booked up. I was told that the unit we were getting was their largest unit and would accommodate us well. It was a loft unit with a queen bed, a futon and a rollaway cot that they provided. Needless to say, we all felt we would have much preferred the bunk beds over the new options. The company didn't say much else other than "sorry, but this was a huge inconvenience for us as well"...but this "inconvenience" they caused us also resulted in additional costs that we could have done without. We had to choose between getting a rental car for the length of our visit, trying to hail cabs or taking transit.
The Pros: Lots of amenities around the property; plenty of restaurants, close to Wal-Mart and Target which made it easy to get the basic groceries needed. Sufficient kitchen supplies were provided though we didn't utilize the stove. Unit was clean. Dave (the maintenance guy) was helpful upon arrival when our code for the lockbox to access our keys wouldn't work.
The Cons: You could hear A LOT through the walls; when the unit next to us flushed their toilet or ran their shower...you could hear it. Our unit was facing the main street which was loud and made it seem like the windows were open when they weren't. The unit itself wasn't anything special but wasn't as bad as some other places we've

Upon arriving, please go directly your townhome or apartment at 20 E. Pine Ridge Court, or 1702 W. Dean Ave, respectively, and enter the code which will be emailed you two days prior to your arrival into the key pad to access your townhome/apartment keys. Our on-site Facilities Manager is available to help you check-in, if needed. Her number is (509)999-5694, if after hours. Upon vacating, place your keys(mail, laundry, and door key) in same lock box. Check-in and check-out times are 11am and 3pm daily, respectively. Rates and availability are subject to change until you receive your reservation number from our office.
