About Kristin and Michael Dolen
We moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1994 for a more relaxed lifestyle in a beautiful setting. Our children were small at the time and it was a great family experience. We initially bought a home on acreage in the nearby town of Hansville and enjoyed our many animals while raising our kids. We relocated to Kingston, the next town over, to experience a more central location within walking distance to everything a small town has to offer.
Kristin and Michael Dolen purchased this Guest House in 2004
Why Kristin and Michael Dolen chose Kingston
Our location is perfect! We love being able to walk to the movies, restaurants, the bakery, or the ferry. We walk on the ferry and in 25 minutes are across the sound in the lovely seaside town of Edmonds. Numerous shops, restaurants, pubs, and another farmers market are just a few of our favorite things to do. We are minutes from great mountain biking trails and hikes which we both love to enjoy.
What makes this Guest House unique
The Unique thing about our property is the location. From the outside, we fell in love with the cape cod style and very central accessible location. Once your inside, you feel like you are miles away from the hustle and bustle. We can hear music in the park and events across the street. We can walk to the farmer's market down the street and also enjoy the concerts on Saturday nights at the marina. There are several coffee shops, pubs, and a wine bar in town. In December bundle up and enjoy the very festive Christmas light display with a walk down to the Marina.
