About Connie Tapia
My sister and I grew up in the Forest Lakes area. Neither of us get up to the cabin as often as we would like to. We love the area and now want to share its beauty and serenity with others.
Connie Tapia purchased this Cabin in 2009
Why Connie Tapia chose Forest Lakes Estates
This property is more than a weekend cabin, it is a home. It is warm and welcoming, especially in the early morning having coffee on the back porch. Be sure and watch for wildlife across the log fence, out in the forest.
What makes this Cabin unique
Towels and linens are included. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils and spices. It has both a Keurig and Mr. Coffee drip pot, just bring your own groceries.

Two words: THE DECKS!
Sitting out on the front and back decks of this gorgeous mountain retreat is the BEST part of being “up north”! The views of the forest as well as the large and lush property itself are just beautiful and the sense of peace and the cool breeze will make you wish you could stay forever... inside, the comfort of the large yet cozy family/living room along with the well equipped and functional kitchen, the comfy bedrooms and the great upstairs game area with pool table leave you with the sense that this cabin truly has it all. We return again and again for these reasons, and our interactions with owners and property manager have been excellent!
AN IMPORTANT NOTE: the drought in the southwest has truly affected the Forest Lakes area as well as all of the north county — ONE SPARK would begin a terrible tragedy for our beautiful forests and mountain communities! So please take the fire restrictions seriously so we can all enjoy this beauty for years and years to come! :-)
clean and comfortable
great cabin. we all had a great time there!
Enjoyable and relaxing
Had a great trip with the family and enjoyed getting away from the city!
We loved our stay at this wonderful cabin! The back porch is relaxing and we saw plenty of wild life, including elk. Look forward to our next visit!
This place was fantastic! Can't wait to come back!
We had six people and it was very comfortable for everyone. We brought groceries to cook dinner and lunch each day; there was plenty of cookware available. They also provided plenty of coffee and tea for the mornings. Willow Springs and Woods Canyon Lake were very close (10min) so if you like fishing, this place works! We can't wait to come back.
My family loved this cabin! The yard is absolutely amazing!
We had the best time. My only regret is that we didn't book the place for longer. We will definitely be back! Everyone had a blast...from my 85 year old grandma to my 8 year old boy and everyone in between!! The yard was perfect for the kids to explore and it was beautiful!
