About Tony and Birgit DiBartolo

In late 2016 we moved to Asheville but before we were able to move here full time, in 2014 we purchased our first cabin on Buffalo Mountain so that we could spend more time in Asheville with our dogs and not have to worry about finding hotel rooms that allow pets. This is now our 3rd cabin in Asheville (all allow dogs) and we are enjoying the interaction with vacationers from all over the country who have visited our cabins.

Tony and Birgit DiBartolo purchased this cabin in 2015

Why Tony and Birgit DiBartolo chose Asheville Area

We fell in love with the property before we even entered the house. We think the grounds are amazing and peaceful. That the house was so rustic and charming was a bonus.

What makes this cabin unique

The previous owner recognized the uniqueness of the property and went to lengths to maximize the appeal of the grounds with a waterwheel and small waterfall. We built a firepit/gathering area near the water features and have created an outdoor space that is beautiful and peaceful. The custom built log cabin (built in the 70's) feels like it was built in the early 1900's and has so much rustic charm.

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Wow...wow....wow- Tony and Birgit really thought of everything for their guest's comfort! The cabin was beautifully appointed and the grounds were relaxing and peaceful. We visited the Asheville area with friends and our two dogs; while the cabin makes you really feel away from it all, the cabin is only 15 minutes from downtown. Our group enjoyed exploring downtown Asheville and checking out some of the local cuisine, we did a day trip into Saluda for whitewater kayaking, and we enjoyed some hiking around the Blue Ridge Parkway. We all had such a wonderful experience, I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Time with Friends

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed our stay in Asheville and found the home to be very convenient to area attractions, activities and restaurants. The owners checked in with us on arrival to make sure all was well and made themselves available should anything arise. It was a peaceful setting to catch up with friends and take a break and enjoy the mountains. Would certainly stay there again!

Wonderful and Beautiful!!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful time at Tony and Birgit's cabin! We were there with our best friends and two toddlers, and we had an absolute ball! The cabin is super clean, beautifully decorated, has everything you need, and is perfectly cozy!! We spent our days exploring Asheville, and just relaxing and enjoying the cabin and property. The little ones were right at home inside, as well as out. The waterfall, stream, campfire, and entire outdoor area is just lovely! The kids couldn't get enough! Birgit was so kind to check in with me more than once to be sure we had everything we needed. She and Tony have thought of everything and they clearly care so much about their guests. We are very much looking forward to another stay at this cabin, hopefully this fall!! Thanks so much for an amazing time! :)

Lovely cabin, fantastic setting, great facilities! Everything we wanted was there, and sitting by the water wheel in the evening with a glass of wine was a perfect stress-buster. Thank you!

Idyllic Outdoor Waterfall and Fire Pit

  • 5 of 5

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, perfectly clean and maintained log home. It came equipped with everything one could possibly need and was spotlessly clean, roomy and comfortable. The meadow/yard was gorgeous in the June foliage, and we spent delightful hours with a roaring fire by the babbling waterfall and stream. Close to Asheville and every amenity, but a rural oasis of tranquility.

Absolutely everything you need in a Log Cabin and more in Leicester, NC !!

  • 5 of 5

This was so much more than I expected. It is so close to the city yet far enough in the mountain wilderness to let you know you are in the mountains. Close enough to grocery stores, gas stations, and even late night snack joints. Just a couple of minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway where you can walk so many trails and see just how beautiful the Blue Ridge Mountains are. Zip lining was awesome and again just a few minutes away. White water rafting at every level and yes just a minute away. The Biltmore Estate was just beautiful and shows just how the Vanderbilt's lived. Of course there is the cabin. All the appliances, WIFI, bedrooms with TV, book shelves loaded with books, an outside fire pit, and a babbling brook going right through the property, a game room with pool table, ping pong, just amazing really. Truly unreal. Our family as well as our dog absolutely loved it. We will be back!!
