Welcome to our Panache and Patina, our lovely and spacious, once our home, second story flat: 1 bedroom, parlor w/leather sofa bed, dining room, eat in fully equipped kitchen, covered Main Street porch w/mountain views & over-sized bath w/claw foot tub.
Arrive by car (street parking) or Trailways Bus (stops a few doors down). Walk to Eateries, Shopping, Community Pool, Andes Rail Trail gorgeous to Big Pond, Little Pond, Pepacton Reservoir, Pets negotiable w/fee. Perfect for couple (full size bed) but will comfortably sleep 4 (full size sofa bed). Price of 149 does not included Delaware County NYS sales tax (8%) or cleaning fee.

Guests have access to gallery apt. as shown in pictures. They also have access to multitudinous eateries, Farmers Market, hiking the Andes Rail Trail, swimming/sleep in our fine linens, play Main Street and beyond.
From NYC, a former adjunct instructor with CUNY & having lived in Savannah, GA, working as a writer, in the 1990's. I moved to the Catskill Mtns. in 2002, absolutely in love with the area. As I used to write about and critique the visual arts, it seemed only natural that I should open a fine art gallery...I did in 2005: Chace-Randall Gallery, Main Street, Andes. You will be staying in our gallery upstairs flat, a lovely Victorian one bedroom home with updated kitchen (stainless steel appliances/new tin ceiling...I love to cook!) and all the walking amenities we love about Andes: restaurants, shopping, our gallery!, Andes community pool, Andes Rail Trail (hiking). You will experience what I love! Me: I'll be in the gallery if you need, or a phone call away in a little cottage in thing I miss is the took care of that...
My husband found that cute little Alligator Point cottage while exploring the Forgotten Coast of FL. We, again, fell in love! Now refer to our Andes place as our town home...Bald Point cottage across from the Gulf, our country place! We wake to birds, deer, occasional otter and pink sunrises over the Gulf--our cottage nestled just across the street in pines and palmettos. 4 miles away we catch sunset on Alligator Point Beach, with our dogs, as AP beach and Bald Point Beach (apart from State Land) are dog friendly. We kayak in the bay, cook up the freshest of seafood, hike State Land down 98 to St. George Island and the quaint oyster village of Apalachicola, indulging in Apalach seafood restaurants, fab gelato and chocolate shop, galleries, antiques, shops to come home to our sweet quiet cottage to watch the stars.
We truly have the best of both worlds (with a taste still of NYC, too).
And we'll share.

What a way to spend the holiday weekend. Zoe's taste is impeccable. If you want to unwind and be right in the heart of an adorable country town, this is the place to rent. Clean , comfortable and inviting. The home comes with all the necessities. A nice find in the center of Andes. Thanx Zoe !
What we liked best about staying in this flat was the fact that it is right in the middle of Andes, an easy walk to anyplace in town where you could possibly want to eat, drink, or go. The second floor porch was our favorite spot, offering a birdseye view of life in the hamlet. We also appreciated the nice selection of art on the walls. We were less crazy about the fact that the place is furnished almost entirely with antiques. In particular, we would have preferred a more modern bed (or, at least, mattress) and the claw-foot tub with hand held sprayer in the bathroom is not for those of us who are serious about our showers.
One suggestion: Zoe provides a shelf full of terrific books, but there's no reading lights near the bed and the overhead light in the bedroom isn't bright enough for reading. A reading light or two would be an easy improvement.
