Located at the base of Blue Mountain on an acre of land, our Southwestern Chalet at Blue Mountain is less than a 10 minute walk from the lifts at the Village at Blue Mountain in Collingwood.

This lovingly restored, air-conditioned home boasts an open-concept format, with a very large living and dining room with a large screen TV and DVD player. Cozy around the gas fireplace with a glass of wine for good conversation with your guests!

The renovated kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate large gatherings with modern appliances and room for more than one cook!

Our wrap-around deck has a gas BBQ, beverage cooler and two six-seat patio sets with a stunning panoramic view of Blue Mountain. This chalet is capable of holding larger groups and provides a perfect backdrop for those memorable friends and family weekends. The main level rear deck is spacious with a new 8 person hot tub. Walk over to the firepit with seating for warming by the fire and roasting marshmallows.

The newly renovated lower level boasts a super big screen TV with leather recliners and games table.

The chalet accommodates up to 14 people with a total of 5 bedrooms; three on the main floor and two on the lower floor with two sizable, newly renovated bathrooms.

Trails are available for a walk or bike ride through environmentally protected land, ravines and forest. Georgian Trail offers 32 kms of perfectly groomed scenic trail that winds along Hwy 26 from Collingwood to Meaford.

It is also a two minute drive to the picturesque North Winds Beach, which is perfect for swimming, picnics, barbecues or just relaxing.

It is an eight minute drive to the charming town of Collingwood and a fifteen minute drive to both Thornbury and Clarksburg and there are over ten golf courses in the surrounding area.

Fun weekend great location

A group of friends and I made our way to Collingwood in early August for a golf trip. This property served our needs well as there was ample space both indoors and outdoors to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We especially enjoyed the newly renovated wraparound deck, hot tub, and large lawn space for activities. The location was prime as we walked into the village for meals and the walk was only about 10-15 minutes. There is a lot of construction in the surrounding area, but this is no fault of the owners and didn't impact us greatly as the crews weren't working on the weekend.

Spacious home at the foot of the mountains.

I have spent several weekends renting villas, chalets and homes in the blue mountain area and this chalet by far has been the best. The property is large and private, with only one neighbour. The house itself has plenty of room for several guests and can accomodate comfortably. Great dining space with panoramic views of the mountains and forests. Great spot, highly recommend.

Perfect spot for a stay in Collingwood!

We had a great time here, plenty of space and great accommodations. The outdoor space was great with plenty of room for lawn games and a nice fire pit. Didn't get 5 stars because the deck is being improved and under construction but will be amazing when its finished shortly!

Perfect location. Lots of privacy but not at the expense of proximity to attractions!

We were welcomed when we arrived and any questions we had were answered. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax our first evening of our stay. The spacious open concept upstairs was great for entertaining the size of our group. When the time came to enjoy the local attractions, the proximity of the chalet to the Village was appreciated. The chalet was very clean. Bedrooms offered us all a restful sleep!

Perfect setting for my group of ladies!

Beautiful and private chalet that is full of character! Had a group of 14 ladies for a weekend at Blue Mountain. The layout was perfect for hanging out together on the top floor; plenty of space all around. We had 2 ladies per bed (even in the bunk beds), and they were pretty darn comfortable (can be a bit squeaky when you move around tho - speaking only for the bunk bed). Even the couch on the top floor was comfy if anyone wanted to sleep solo. You can see the beautiful mountains from the window, and there was lots of natural lighting as well. Hot tub was a plus! 15min stroll to the village. Sergio was very helpful in welcoming us and showing us the ropes around the place. Holly and Colin were excellent hosts and were super quick to respond to any questions.

The only thing is that the basement can be a bit chilly (the bunk beds are located there). Easily fixed with a few extra layers :)

Overall, the girls and I loved this place and will definitely consider re-booking again in the future! Thank you!
