One Bedroom, One Bathroom with Separate Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen
About Robyn Carroll
Welcome! My husband and I have lived in Savannah for more than a decade and are raising our young boys in the Victorian District. We love the slow pace of life and accessibility to almost everything. Most weekends we don't use the car! I have worked for a large hotel chain for the last 10 years and my husband is a contractor that restores old homes. Blending my hospitality back ground and his construction background for a vacation rental seemed an obvious next step. We are excited to show off our beautiful city to visitors. Please contact us with any questions.
Robyn Carroll purchased this Apartment in 2003
Why Robyn Carroll chose Midtown
My husband bought this house in 2003 and it was his first major restoration project. The house had been vacant for 20 years or more and was quite a project. There are some before photos on display in the house. It was our home for many years and we only moved out recently when our family grew. This year we made some updates and thought it would be a great vacation rental spot due to it's proximity to the park and grocery store.
What makes this Apartment unique
Restoring homes in Savannah is a passion of ours. To see a vacant and dilapidated house returned to it's original state is not only amazing for the homeowner but for the neighborhood as well. With modern amenities and tasteful furnishings this home will enhance your stay in Savannah with comfort and allow you to visit like a local Savannahian.

Perfect charming getaway!
Great neighborhood. Great hosts. This is a clean, stylish, perfect getaway.
Great home, very roomy, clean and well stocked kitchen. Location close to Kroger. Only negative was the lack of washcloths. Only had one. Would definitely rent again!!!
Very Nice Apartment
Savannah is an incredible city with many beautiful homes. This one included. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Just a few issues with this home.
1. There is a nice courtyard just off the kitchen door that is off limits, may be that it belongs to the house next door, but a table and chairs would make a nice place to relax privately.
2. That same kitchen door allows air seepage which may not be a problem most of the year, but since we were there during a super hot spell, that and the exhaust fan in the kitchen exhaust fan allowed a lot of outside air in which made the a/c work extra hard to keep the place relatively cool. We ran the kitchen fan 24/7 to prevent hot air from coming in. A little weatherstripping around the door would have helped tremendously. Other than that it was a very nice place. Nice front porch which was shaded in the afternoon and evening made for a nice place to sit and relax. Good water pressure in the shower. Nice appliances and utensils in the kitchen. TV worked great as did the internet service. A little shy on closet space, but there is a small dresser in the bedroom helped with clothes storage. Living room was spacious and comfortable, but could have used some better blinds, the one over the center window was about 3” too short so someone could look in.
There was a transom window in the kitchen that was uncovered allowing neighbors to see in towards the bathroom, keep covered up! The owners were very accessible and friendly and were helpful with any questions.
It’s on a bus line so during the day it was a bit noisy, but quieted down every evening.
Parking on street was plentiful, but watch the street sweeping signs!
Grocery store and liquor store we’re just a few blocks down.
All in all we enjoyed our stay, and would return again. Thanks Robyn for your patience and kindness. It was very helpful.
Spring in Savannah
The house was just the right size for the two of us. We loved the historical feel. I enjoyed looking at the before pictures they posted of the renovations. There was an unusual door to the bathroom from the bedroom. It was mostly glass, so you could see everything going on in the bathroom, except in the shower. Some people may not mind, but we were a little disconcerted. The other negative was the location. We felt safe inside the house, but there were a couple of occasions where there was a need for police presence. They were very quick to respond, so that was comforting. It certainly is not a reflection of the owners. I just know I'd want to know about it. The owners were very quick to respond, even to two of my silly questions. There is a Kroger a couple of blocks away--easy walking distance. We enjoy walking, so we walked downtown, to the squares, and to the museums. It was a great place to spend our week away from the cold up north and to satisfy our need for history!
Clean, bright and spacious. Easy walk to Forysth Park and free shuttle to downtown. Nicest spot we've ever stayed!
Bright Victorian is Just Lovely
We loved this lovely VRBO as it was spacious and loved the location. Located in a wonderful historic neighborhood that's been undergoing a positive sprucing up.
This VRBO is perfect for one or two people. Has only one bedroom which is tight and you won't be able to spread out your luggage in there, but the rest of the apartment: living room and dining room are very spacious and airy with sky-high ceilings.
The kitchen is large and well-stocked.
This VRBO is also located right down the street from a Krogers' supermarket and an awesome place called The Mate' Factor - a quaint and lovely tea and coffee house that is a unique gem.
Overall, loved this apartment and it's charm.
Located in Savannah's Victorian District three blocks from Forsyth Park, a grocery store, health food market, three coffee shops, European wine shop, bars and restaurants.
There is a farmers market in Forsyth Park every Saturday morning and a new playground for kids. It's a short walk to Savannah's Historic District and convenient access by car to Tybee Island and the new Tanger outlets in Pooler.
