About Sandra Smith
We are retired and have traveled the United States, Mexico and Canada in our motorhome. We love to play pickleball, hike, mountain bike, cross country ski, scuba dive and basically enjoy the outdoors.
Sandra Smith purchased this House in 1992
Why Sandra Smith chose Baderville
We fell in love with the spectacular view and the accessibility to the national forest where we can bike ride, hike and cross country ski. While traveling in our RV we have rented the house full time, but are now ready to enjoy some time here during the summer. The house is so special, we love that others can enjoy it during the fall, winter and spring while we aren't there. During the summer, we will be there, but are delighted to have guests stay in the separate suite and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. We will rent out the house during the major holidays, but owners will be on premises during Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day holidays only.

Beautiful sights! And views
Dud no realize that it was not very friendly for senior citizens, but other than that was nice and homey!
Property manager very helpful and accommodating.
Thank you for being such great guests. It's easy to be accommodating for wonderful guests. Yes, all the different levels and stairs make it tough if seniors have mobility issues. We're in our late seventies and don't have any problem thankfully. But some of our friends do. Thanks for bringing that up Nancy, because it is important for folks to know this.
This property is in a great location for going to the Grand Canyon, parents weekend at NAU, skiing at Snowbowl or for just general out door activities. It is in a residential neighborhood that tout acreage properties ... not tract homes. The proerty is surounded by pines not actually in them.
We were there to escape the heat of Phoenix.
My husband and I are older and are not that computer literate. With that said I had a very hard time signing the rental agreement electronically.
Once we arrived, the property owners were on site . Sandra & Ed greeted us warmly , showed us around and explained evertyhing about the property. Sandra & her husband are very down to earth type of people. They listened to us and our needs! They happened to be on site for the duration of our stay but never interrupted us. They lived in a motorhome near the house. I'm not sure if it's always like that but it did not bother us.
I would reccomend this property to you all. I would also go back for another adventure at Sandra and Ed's BLUE SPRUCE north of Flagstaff.
Hi Richard, We look forward to your return and want to thank you again for taking such good care of our house. We loved the apples you left us. Thank you. And no, we aren't always there in the motorhome so really enjoyed meeting you. Thank you again for being such fun and wonderful guests.

It is a very tiny suite but perfect for our purpose of traveling to the Grand Canyon and back.
Yes, it is a perfect stopover on the way to the Grand Canyon. Thanks for taking such good care of our suite.
Great Comfortable Cabin
Better than the pictures. Great location for Snow Bowl. Amazing view of the peaks from almost every room. Awesome attentive owner. Super quiet and comfy. Great condition. Easy 5 stars.
Thank you, Denny. I agree, the photos don't do justice to the majestic view of the peaks. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and thank you for taking such good care of our house.
This is a wonderful property right next to Snow Bowl ski area
This is a wonderful property to relax and hit the slopes in Flagstaff. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy with a family. The loft area is a great place for the kids to get away, great kitchen and a great living room with fireplace for cold nights. The best feature is the view of the mountain!
We are so delighted that you enjoyed the Blue Spruce Chalet. Thank you for taking such good care of it. Yes, that view really is awesome. We hope you come again.
