We love it and don't get there often enough, so we want to share it with the world.
Driving down the private drive into the shaded woods literally lifts weight off your shoulders. Breathe deep and relax on the expansive deck and enjoy the nature around you.
I, along with my group of friends, was very excited for our trip having read the description and reviews of this cabin. And let me tell you, the cabin was all that it promised to be and more. It is beautiful, extremely well-kept and has a cozy homey feel to it. Also, the hosts have made sure to equip the place with every amenity one could dream of for a home not your own; there were extra linens and comforters, all bath products, basic meds, and the kitchen was also well-stocked. Our group loved using the grill out on the patio! There was plenty of options for seating and sleeping bed in the master bedroom was huge; and these little things mattered a lot since our group was kinda large. I myself missed the chance to meet our host but she was very sweet about me contacting her as and when I needed. All in all, this was a great first experience and I would recommend this place to anyone who was looking. I just wish we had more time there. But maybe next time!
The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The bed and sofa and chairs we super comfy, which is important to me. The drive was beautiful, and the views and forest feel made our getaway feel like we were farther than Branson. Our host was very friendly and accommodating.
We arrived late in the evening and appreciated the great directions. The cabin is tucked away in a nice little neighborhood. Felt very safe and secure for two gals traveling. We found everything we needed for a well deserved weekend away. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. The king bed was extra comfy. Only detail you may need to know is the steps are a bit steep. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
Our stay at the Cabin in the Woods was just what we were looking for....peaceful, quiet, relaxing! The cabin is very comfortable with everything we could have needed. Although it has the feeling of being remote, it is very close to all kinds of activities. It's also an easy drive for daytime adventures in Branson, Eureka Springs, etc. We will return again someday and highly recommend this property!
We had a great time. The cabin was more beautiful than pictures showed. Very well maintained and kept. Was very clean. Enjoyed all the amenities. Was a great place to relax and have down time.
The cabin was more than we expected. It was in a quiet residential area, and we felt safe and secluded from the hustle and bustle of the Branson scene. The location is a ways away from Branson, but it did not feel like a long drive over to the attractions. We ate catfish at a local place and shopped for groceries in Kimberling City. The grocery was ideal! We also stopped at a lovely store called the Quilt Cow in Branson West and found the store to be friendly and well-kept. The cabin had anything a person could want, and the second floor balcony was so nice. I would recommend this rental to most people. The stairs at the cabin are not for people with limitations, but it describes the cabin as not being handicapped accessible before hand. The owners made us feel very welcome.
Silver Dollar City and Marvel Cave are always on the list of things to do in the area.
There are numerous Golf courses in the area along with hiking and biking trails at Dogwood Canyon.
Boat and/or Jet ski rentals as well as boat slip rentals are available at "What's Up Dock?" Port of Kimberling Marina
