The home is as it is pictured. It has a beautiful setting, yet you are able to get into town with a short drive. The home is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. It is well stocked with "extras" with personal touches from the owners to meet all your needs. The beds are of high quality and comfortable. We especially appreciated the communication with the owners to help with a smooth transition to their home and inside. They also left lights on in case we arrived in the dark. The only minor inconvenience was having to make calls on a cell phone outside due to how the home is built, or what it is built on, however there is a landline inside that is available. We would recommend this home to others, and would stay again.
The house is well situated to go to Santa Fe, the Santa Fe Opera, and many other attractions like ruins. It is a delight for birdwatching with lots of hummingbirds, quail, and finches. The hosts have provided all that one might need and more. It is well equipped for cooking, relaxing and there are three large bedrooms. All items including the bed is of high quality which is wonderful. In addition, the hosts made sure we got in and had no issues, all of which without being intrusive.
We recommend this place highly and if we come back to this area, would gladly stay here again.
My husband and kids met up with some friends who flew acorss cou try with their children to get here. It was everything we goped it would be. My husband and i are very frequent travelers and have rented numeous cabins/houses on our trips. This was definately among our favorite! The owners made us feel like valued guests based on their accomodations. They definately pay attention to detail and quality. The home and products (cleaning/toiletries/kitchen, etc) are very eco-friendly. The decor is true to the culture and very cozy. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for the whole foodie and eco-concious. The kids loved the wonderful, traditional toys and swing and nature. Last but not least, the owners were very kind via messaging and were always quick to rey to our needs. I have nothing negative to say about our stay.
This place was very secluded and cozy. We loved the history of the land that the house sits on. Everything we needed was provided. We loved having coffee on the back porch in the morning and watching the humming birds. Relaxing and watching television in the evenings was a bit uncomfortable. If I had to change anything I would add a bigger sofa or another recliner.
The house was perfect for our family! Super clean and very well-maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we could possibly need! The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room! Loved having a washer and dryer, as we needed to wash ski clothes nightly! The kids loved the toys you left out so thank you for that extra bonus! :) Hope to be back soon!!
The home was fantastic and has been a great refuge. I loved the kitchen with it's generous array of cooking ingredients, the fresh spices, and all the modern gears - a perfect choice for long term stay. Winter by the fire, the peaceful light in the cozy sun room. Some beautiful photos to be made of the winter blue sky. The porch space is certainly relaxing, snow/water drops still falling & reforming nightly, the moon so bright and beautiful! A week into a month... a true countryside home.
Close to El Rancho de Las Golondrinas, Sunrise Springs, La Cieneguilla Pueblo ruins, La Cieneguilla Petroglyphs, Equestrian facility, Santa Fe Airport and NM Railrunner 599 Stop.
