Eastern Tennessee's abundant beauty, tempo, and sense of community are enjoyable throughout four distinct seasons. Prompted by a lifelong affection for the Great Smoky Mountains, my search for solace led to a unique opportunity for developing an existing property into a mountain retreat for adults desiring tranquil and serene respite on a year-round basis. Havens on the Ridge offers both while simultaneously being ideally located a short distance from the towering majesty of nature's exploration as well as the entertainment and adventures of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The property was originally owned by the Blackburn family as their primary residence and boasts a "gathering" cottage for special occasions. Their family tree includes Michael Blackburn who achieved notoriety as the World's Greatest Sharpshooter. It's history sparked a special interest within me, and each day I'm thankful to now call Havens on the Ridge my home as caretaker.
Beyond the tranquility, privacy, and comfort of Havens on the Ridge, we strive to ensure a "home-away-from-home" getaway. An onsite manager will welcome you and be immediately available for issues or needs that might arise during your stay. Complimentary "goody" bags await guests in each cottage; and, if desired, we will happily pre-stock your cabin with items of your choosing such as soft drinks, bottled water, and snacks (small service fee).
My family came to Pigeon Forge for Christmas vacation and our stay at the Mansard House was great!! It was very clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for nice, comfortable place to stay!!!
The cabin was great. It was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, was so quiet and peaceful. Spending Christmas in the cabin was wonderful. It is close to so many things, but you would never know it, because it was so peaceful. TIm was very kind and helpful. The fenced in yard, was fantastic. Sitting out of the deck, listening to the birds, was such a great change from living in the city. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, beautiful place to stay, I highly recommend this cabin. We will definitely be back.
This place is great! Close to everything but quite and scenic. Tim the owner lives onsite. Supper nice guy, helps with anything that you need. If you have dogs that travel with you this is the place to stay!! We will be back next time we're in the mountains.
We loved our stay at the Mansard House. Tim has thoughtfully decorated and provided everything you could need or want, to enjoy wonderful retreat in the beautiful mountains. Tim provided great directions to the cabin as well as directions to activities and attractions in the area. If you wish to spend a quiet comfortable time in the mountains this is a great choice. We were especially happy that we could bring our dog and the fenced yard was an extra asset. We hope to return to his cabin again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

I FOUND THIS RENTAL ON VRBO, IT WAS GREAT FOR MY FAMILY AND OUR DOGS, I HAD TO FIND A RENTAL THAT HAD A FENCED YARD DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE HAVE BEAGLES. THE YARD WAS GREAT IT WAS FENCED ON ROUGHLY 2/ 3 AROUND THE HOUSE WITH THE FENCING STARTING ON THE ONE SIDE OF THE HOUSE WHERE THE PATIO AREA IS GOING AROUND BACK AND ENDING UP AT THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE WITH THE FENCING ATTACHING UP TO THE FRONT DECK. THE HOUSE WAS VERY CLEAN , NO CARPET WHICH WAS FANTASTIC AND WELL MAINTAINED. THE FENCED AREA IS LARGER THAN SHOWN IN THE PICS. WILL RENT THIS AGAIN NEXT YEAR. TIM THE OWNER WAS VERY NICE AND HE HAS 2 DOGS , ONE OF THEM WAS A LEMON BEAGLE.
The Mansard cottage was exactly what our family was looking for! It delivered in any every way. We needed a fenced in property to bring our dogs with us on vacation and the yard was very large and worked out great! The property is in a nice quiet area that lets you escape from the congestion and noise that you deal with all day in Pigeon Forge. It was only about 10 minutes to Dollywood which allowed us to come back to the property and let the dogs out and then go back out at night to enjoy more of the activities in town. When we come back to Pigeon Forge for vacation I will definitely reach out to Tim again. Tim is on site for any issues that arise and hos response time is extremely quick!
