Aina Haina Beach Hale, a fully Air Conditioned Guest House, a perfect home for a family, corporate travel, or a large group, which is conveniently located between Kahala and Hawaii Kai. It is also within 5 to 10 minute driving distance to Hanauma Bay, Sea Life Park to the East, and the Kahala Mall, shopping, Kahala Resort, and Waikiki to the West/South West. Aina Haina Beach Hale is on a quiet private driveway, a hidden jewel, that is so close to all top attractions and conveniences.

So close to Waikiki, nightlife, fine dining, groceries (Foodland is across the street, which you can walk to and COSTCO is only 5 minutes away), many art galleries, fine shopping, and vacations paradise, Waikiki – all within 10 to 15 minute drive from the Aina Haina Beach Hale.

Aina Haina Beach Hale features four (4) bedrooms, three (3) bathrooms, living room, dining area, a full kitchen, a separate laundry room, 2nd floor lanai, and an outdoor dining space with a Gas BBQ Grill. The dining table can accommodate 12 comfortably. EVERY ROOM has a 4K (Ultra High Definition) Smart TV with access to streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime in every room – 4 bedrooms and living room. Recently, we have installed split air conditioner in each room for more comfort!

The Master Bedroom has an ensuite Bathroom and a walk-in closet, a California King Bed (most comfortable Foam mattress), a beautiful ceiling fan, original artwork, 4K (Ultra HD) Smart TV, and Split Air Conditioner.

The Second bedroom has a queen bed (also a Foam Mattress), a beautiful ceiling fan, original art work, 4K (Ultra HD) Smart TV, and Split Air Conditioner

The Third bedroom has a queen bed (also a Foam Mattress), a beautiful ceiling fan, original art work, 4K (Ultra HD) Smart TV, and Split Air Conditioner. The second and third bedrooms share a Bathroom.

The Fourth bedroom is located on the second level of house with a private Bathroom and a walk-in closet, a California King Bed (most comfortable Foam mattress), a beautiful ceiling fan, original art work, 4K (Ultra HD) Smart TV, and Split Air Conditioner.

The Living room has a pull out sofa bed with many original art work, 4K (Ultra HD) Smart TV, and Split Air Conditioner. The living room guests share a Bathroom with 2nd and 3rd bedrooms near the stairs.

Fantastic home in a great location

We had 10 people in our group from Australia and it was fabulous. 4 bedrooms and 1 fold out sofa. Located in the suburbs just outside of Waikiki. We had 3 rental cars which made it the perfect spot to get away from the city as well as being very close for those essential tours and sightseeing. It is also very close to the beach which allowed us to go to the local beach and meant not a lot of tourists which was great. The only thing I would suggest is probably a little info about the traffic, each morning they cone off some lanes and you cannot turn left so this can make you run late if you don't know and have to make a few u turns as the GPS doesn't know you can't turn other than that it was fantastic and I would recommend that any group stay here. It is affordable and you can cook and wash if you so desire!! Thank you!

Excellent

Had a family group of 6. There was plenty of room for everyone. Enjoyed the evenings on the patio. The kitchen was fully stocked. Stores and restaurants within walking distance. The owners live next door and we're the best very helpful and let us enjoy sunrise on the rooftop deck.

Beautiful

There were 12 of us, 6 children. We had an amazing time. The home had everything we needed . The owners were very kind and helpful and made us feel at home. We loved the fact that we were close to everything. Beaches were a 5 minute drive away. Hanuma Bay way about 10 minutes away. Costco was 5 minutes away and a local grocery store was just across the highway. We have already recommended this property to a family friend.

By the way - the beds are amazing!!! Thank you for making our holiday one we will never forget!!

Excellent

While the property was a bit further out than I had expected, it was very easy to find, and very convenient. The grocery store across the street was easy to access. The owners of the property were friendly and helpful. I had a group of eleven girl scouts (teenagers). The four bedrooms and three bathrooms were great. An added benefit was the pool. That was a big hit! If we were to come again, I would try to use the same place.

A bit disappointed

While the owners (who live in the "adjoining" part of the house) are very friendly and helpful we felt our privacy was a bit invaded. First let me explain the "adjoining". There is one bedroom and bathroom upstairs that is part of the rental space - it has French doors that open into the Owners part of the house - the problem is the lock is "only" on the owners side so you have no security of locking on your side like you do at a hotel where you have adjoining rooms. I bring this up because my son and his fiance were staying in the upstairs bedroom and they heard someone open those doors in the middle of the night and get something out of a china closet that is in the hallway upstairs. Oh and by the way the upstairs bedroom door lock does not lock. It would have been much more advisable to come to the front door and ask if they could go up and get whatever it was they needed from the china closet. The driveway getting in and out of the property is a bit scary - only wide enough for one car and there are 2 other house that use that driveway in addition it opens out on to a "very" busy 3 lane expressway. In the kitchen we found dirty dishes in the dishwasher, dirty pans in the oven that looked like meat had been broiled on them and the coffee pot was half full of old coffee with the grounds still in the coffee maker. The snorkel equipment looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time - we purchased our own. Perhaps a quick dunk in a bucket with Clorox bleach is advisable to kill any bacteria. I think it would only be fair to receive at least 1/2 of our cleaning fee back. The upside - it is close to several "must see" areas and attractions on the island and close to grocery store for stocking up if you plan to eat meals at the house. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of room for 8 of us and the rest of the house was adequately clean.

Owner's Response: Our sincerest apologies for the guest's stay. We have provided a full refund of the cleaning fee to the guests. Upon investigating the issues with the cleanliness, I found that it was due to a same day check in and the guests arriving early - the cleaning lady was not able to clean per our checklist. Since then, we have made changes to our procedures so this would not happen again. With respect to the parking situation, we are clear in our instructions to the guests where to park, but with a property such as this, being able to park up to 4 vehicles right next to the entry door is rare in Honolulu. For the 4th bedroom privacy on the 2nd floor, I inquired with our family members, as it was very surprising that someone would enter the guest house. Everyone assured me (and I have no reason to believe otherwise) that no one had entered, but the lanai door sometimes closes unexpectedly when the wind blows. We do not have a lock on that door on the guest's side as that is the only way we can enter to open the guest house if the guests are locked out of the house - and it has happened many times, so we keep the lock on our side. Whenever we need to have access to the guest house while we have guests, we always enter through the front door with the guest's permission. With the initial discount and a full refund of the cleaning fee, I hope the future guests know that we take these matters very seriously and we hope to remedy any issues right away. Our cleaning lady is very good and we have always had nice comments on the cleanliness of the guesthouse. Mahalo, Mun
